Elon Musk’s Tesla, the leading electric vehicle manufacturer, has slashed even more workers from the payroll following weeks of massive layoffs, leaving employees on edge and seeking closure.
Business Insider reports that Tesla has been conducting a series of layoffs over the past four weeks. The latest round of cuts, which took place on Sunday night, has left employees uncertain about their future with the company. According to Business Insider, four workers reported that their managers notified them of additional cuts to their teams on Monday morning, while several Tesla workers took to LinkedIn to share their experiences of receiving layoff notices over the weekend.

There is no doubt in my mind that sooner or later we will have electric cars, but it will only be when we find ways and means for a reasonable quick charge as well as a charge which will last for quite a few more miles than what we have now. If and when this time comes even I would be interested in buying an electric car. But until then we need to make use and do with what is available and for now this happens to be gas powered vehicles which are pretty clean in regards to emissions, compared to what it used to be.
Democrat LONG knives are out for TESLA AND everything that is successful and/or makes normal people happy.
My big mistake with my assessment Obama was that I couldn't believe that he would fail completely at his mission to destroy America. (Cost me a bundle.)
Teslas are (can be) fast.
Democrats also hate/ would like to shut down small, limited production performance car manufacturers.
the whole concept of dedicated EVs is insane.
Gas/EV makes sense but dedicated EVs.... what a joke.
Actually vehicles should be gas/EV/Solar and if we were smart enough, using the magnetic poles to generate motion.
Tesla should build a Model S with a mid-engine V or flat 12 engine. That would be cool.
😆
No one will ever need more than 640K of memory.
What about mandates though? Canada for instance is outlawing the ICE by 2036. Will American states follow suit?
Aren’t massive layoffs bad for the environment?
Massive unemployment resulted in WWI and WWII which is not conducive to a pleasant environment.
The world must learn to sacrifice much social convenience in order to maintain their windmills an solar panels.
Fossil fuels is the answer.
LOCATIONS OF LAYOFFS???
China is doing the number to Tesla Biden taps desk counts money.
Nikolas Tesla claimed he could extract and convey electric power from the air or the ground, and there’s an infomercial claiming they have the device. There is research going on that might one day lead to solar power being collected by satellites and somehow beamed down to earth. And there’s this newfangled hydrogen engine, whose proponents claim is safe, efficient and clean, and Musk is quite taken with it. Nikolas Tesla also built an electric car that could run for days on one charge of the battery, but when the public wasn’t interested, he squirreled it away somewhere.
So maybe. Who knows.
I have a Tesla Model 3... 4 second 0_60 is also sub 10 second 0 to 100 and it pulls to its speed limiter with authority @145mph. I took it down 121 at 145 mph the other day when I blew the doors off a Mustang that tried to pass and cut me off. It went from 75 to 140+ in seconds poor Mustang making a lot of noise 8+ car lengths back. I used to rally race a SAAB with 550 to the wheels AWD and this Tesla is faster than that SAAB by a good bit. Being a racer I’m comfortable with 150 mph speeds maxed our 200+ on the track and street races in the 160s
Simply put: "You CANNOT sell SNOW to the Eskimos"
