Democratic governor Kathy Hochul was forced to issue a groveling apology after she suggested that black children in New York do not know what computers are.
Hochul spoke in California at the Milken Institute Global Conference on Monday, claiming she would enable a more diverse tech workforce.
During her speech, the out-of-touch Democrat declared, “Right now we have, you know, young black kids growing up in the Bronx who don’t even know what the word ‘computer’ is.”
“They don’t know, they don’t know these things. And I want the world opened up to all of them,” she added.

Following a massive backlash, Hochul attempted to retract the remarks, saying, “I misspoke, and I regret it.”
“Of course, Black children in the Bronx know what computers are.”
Dan Quayle spelled the word potato wrong and it basically ended his political career......because you know, all Republicans must be destroyed...and no transgression is too minor for that
Amazing that 90% of Blacks vote for these people who think so little of them, simply amazing.
You are correct, but not for the reasons you state.
They do these things like lowering standards and not teaching that racist language ‘English’ in favor of street lingo, to KEEP them ‘inferior’.
Have you had to go to a government (local, state or federal) office for any reason lately? Almost all government jobs are filled by blacks.
That is what the Democrats are doing. Basically relegating them to menial office work with absolutely great benefits in trade for their votes. Slavery wasn’t abolished, it just changed names..............
I have yet to see a black without his/her phone in her hand. They can’t seem able to part with it. They do know how to use a computer for playing games and showing off their guns and handfuls of cash from their drug deals on their Facebook page.

This points out what I’ve believed for a long time, white liberal democrats have never really live with and around any significant number of black people, they have grown up going to all white schools or schools with virtually no black people, so they have no idea how black people think.
I grew up from the late 60s from elementary school thru the 12th grade in schools that were roughly 50/50, all of us lived in an agricultural area, working on farms when we weren’t in school, we played sports together when the teams were majority black, one year I played on the varsity basketball team when I was the only white player on the team.
I guarantee you, Kathy Hochul has never been in any environment like that. She is clueless and probably really thinks black kids don’t know what a computer is and it’s her duty as a good liberal to do something about it.
Back during the days of slavery, slave-owners would discourage their slaves from getting educated, lest they start getting "uppity". They needed to keep them dependent upon and subservient to the plantation.
What an arrogant and ignorant person.

Kathy Hochul is white liberal democrats, and they are one of if not the most racist group in America.
Take the issue of voter ID being required, many white liberal democrats actually think blacks are too stupid to figure out how to get an ID, not realizing they already have a valid ID card, in most cases their driver’s license.
When ACTUAL racism is exposed, it doesn’t matter if you’re a D. More than anything, this tells you all you need to know about the media.
It’s the same with the “ID required to vote” argument - “blacks have a hard time getting ID”. Really? Ask black people, they don’t agree. Yet the media repeat this nonsense all day long.
We all know why.
Of course they know what they are.... That’s what the steal from the Apple stores.
