When the judge gags a key witness for Trump’s defense
Washington Examiner ^ | May 6, 2024 | Byron York

WHEN THE JUDGE GAGS A KEY WITNESS FOR TRUMP’S DEFENSE. The false bookkeeping trial of former President Donald Trump is now in its fourth week. This newsletter has pointed out lots of times, most recently last Friday, that while we know that Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has charged Trump with falsifying bookkeeping records of a nondisclosure payment in order to commit or conceal another crime, Bragg still hasn’t revealed what that other crime is. It’s really the key to the whole case. Without the other crime, there would be no charges against Trump in this matter. The fact that we — and that includes the defendant — still don’t know what the other crime is is one of the great injustices of a felony prosecution that never should have happened.

But now we’re getting an idea of where prosecutors are going. Perhaps the leading theory — they’re all just theories — of the other crime is that in addition to violating New York’s misdemeanor law against falsifying bookkeeping records, Trump also violated another New York misdemeanor law, 17-152, which prohibits conspiring “to promote or prevent the election of any person to a public office by unlawful means.” Put those two misdemeanors together, and bingo! Trump stands accused of 34 felony counts, which could put him in prison for a maximum of 136 years.

Oh, this case will never survive the appeal process.

But that's the point, of course. The trial, and the appeals process, costs money. Lots of it. Sure, Mr. Trump is loaded. He can "afford" it.

How 'bout you? Me? The owners of this forum? The January 6 protesters?

Takes one a whole new light, doesn't it?

But what can jurors do to protect from being deceived by the judge?

The first thing a juror can do with respect to a deceptive judge or prosecutor is vote to acquit. Deception by either judge or prosecutor raises Reasonable Doubt that the defendant is guilty.

Bookkeepers get to know who is a regular on the Accounts Payable system.

IF COHEN had cleaned a building for Trump, after many years of submitting LEGAL FEES invoices, the bookkeeper would just about automatically record it as legal fees.

IF Cohen’s invoice said LEGAL FEES-—CANNOT blame the bookkeepers.

The biggest criminal in this “trial” is COHEN.

Have you ever served as a juror?

I have. You know. You can tell when they’re BSing you. You can tell when you’re “being denied critical need-to-know information”. What they don’t say is as important as what they do say.

Yes, we acquitted that defendant.

Everyone seems to think that Trump was calling the shots on Cohen's work...he was not.

I do contracts with my clients....I tell them what I will do (which is a broad statement) and that they will pay me in three installments.

Cohen says he will provide legal services...and a contract with Stormy is a legal service.

If they want to know what's up...they have to search Cohen's files...which they obviously did and that's how Cohen wound up in jail...nothing to do with Trump.

Takes one a whole new light, doesn’t it? >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Two things we need to do.

Get rid of the Soros family.Easy to do using the Criminal court of the Hague.

Pardon every J-sixer, and allow them to be compensated for malicious prosecution.
