Noem Defends Killing Dog, Suggests Biden’s Dog Should Be Shot
Breitbart ^ | 05/05/2024 | Pam Key

Posted on 05/05/2024 11:08:32 AM PDT by ChicagoConservative27

Governor Kristi Noem (R-SD) said Sunday on CBS’s “Face the Nation” that she had to kill her dangerous dog, adding that President Joe Biden’s dog “has attacked 24 Secret Service people.”

Partial transcript as follows:

MARGARET BRENNAN: Okay, so you don’t agree with Mr. Trump’s statement there. I want to ask you again about the book. I- I know you know, this question is coming, because there’s been such an enormous backlash about your revelation that you shot and killed a Wirehair Pointer or named Cricket, who was 14 months old. You say in the book, she came from another family that struggled with her aggression, you’d been training her to hunt, she got too excited, ruined the hunt, and then attacked and killed some chickens. I wonder if you have regrets about sharing this story.

Maybe you should run her campaign.

Maybe he is. That's about the only thing, it seems to me, that would explain his attempted defense of this silly deranged narcissistic broad.

That people can't honestly see what an absolute loser this woman is, politically-speaking, and instead mount the most over-the-top ridiculous -- and, at the same time, wholly irrelevant -- defenses of her, is very telling.

MAGA influencers have been pushing the crazies for years now. They demonize actual conservatives like DeSantis and push Trump sycophants instead.

I’ve owned dogs all of my 60+ years. I’ve had ONE that was mean. Raised her from a puppy. Just...mean. When our granddaughter came to live with us for a year, we had a vet kill her. I’d have shot her if it had been legal to shoot a gun on my property. Shooting a dog is a fast death if you know what you are doing.

No idea why she was mean. She was around 15 months old IIRC. Wasn’t going to take a chance she’d rip our granddaughter’s face off.

I don’t see what the big deal is about shooting a dog. It’s a DOG, not a baby! And once in a while a dog (and IMHO once in a while a person) is born mean as sin. The difference is that it is legal to shoot the dog!

That said, you’ve got to be bat-sheite crazy to BRAG about it as a politician. You can brag about killing babies, but not dogs!

Very telling indeed. Sometimes some of these guys just don’t have a sense of reality. And to say the truth is very insulting to them. Very odd behavior.

“Dogs that mess with neighbors’ chickens are expected to be put down.”

Why was the dog allowed to run loose on a neighbors property? Especially if it was deemed to be vicious and dangerous?

Good question. Right now I have a greyhound, which is never off lead unless in a fenced area for obvious reason—they can hit 40 mph in a few strides. But many dogs in the country do run loose with no problems. It’s only when they start chasing chickens or livestock that things take an ugly turn.

Obviously I have no first-hand knowledge of what measures Noem did or didn’t take to restrain her dog. I’m just relating an unwritten rules of country life relating to dogs.

If you are a suicidal presidential canine, you just might seek the assistance of the secret service to help you along, otherwise you may just have to dream of it.

We had a car/bike chasing dog that, except for that, was very loving.

After she nipped the ankle of a bicycle rider, our dog was issued a “dangerous dog” citation by local law enforcement, so we decided it best to give her away to a farm family, where she’d be far from road traffic.

We quickly learned that our legal liability would follow the dog no matter where she ended up, so we were forced to put her down, which was devastating to our family.

Whatever one you want. You clearly have a good impression of her so maybe you could help her. First act should be to tell her to shut up. Explain that she’s screwing herself and digging deeper. You care enough for her. You should encourage those actions.
