When ‘The Chosen’ Director Dallas Jenkins isn’t purposefully tweaking and antagonize Christians by posting videos of his crew members wearing the LGBTQ flag or insisting that he loves the same Jesus that his Mormon friends do, demonstrating again and again his false understanding of Jesus and the gospel, he is announcing new ‘partnerships’ regarding his show, sharing that the first three seasons of ‘The Chosen’ will soon be on Disney+ and Hulu.
According to Inside the Magic:
From a crowd-funded indie darling to a multi-platform underdog story, The Chosen is easily one of the most successful and popular TV dramas on any network, including Youtube, Amazon Prime, and Apple TV. So, it makes total sense that both Disney and Hulu would want to capitalize on the show’s massive and growing fanbase.
…As the merger with Hulu brought together two massive collections of media, Disney claimed a massive portion of the current streaming audience. Whether this was done as an easy cash grab, a way to better market the already popular series, or somewhere in between, there’s no doubt that it will indeed have results.
If it wasn’t for you guys I wouldn’t know what errors were associated with this.

I finally told him NO multiple times and why.
Now his latest things are:
1) The Earth is flat - the Sun revolves around the Earth - NASA is deceiving us on this because......????
2) And last night - everything that has gone wrong in the world is because of ... (wait for it) ... the JOOZ!!!

Disney will probably tamper with the script for seasons 4-8, demanding that the character of Judas be given a new story arc, eventually becoming a wealthy and influential new King of Judea.
And that the character of Mary of Magdala eschew the life of a cave-bound hermit and penitant, choosing instead to be a Trusted Social Media Influencer.
Just wait until the script is rewritten in response to expected new anti-antisemitism legislation.

I started watching a TV series called American Rust. It had Jeff Daniels and Maura Tierney and seemed interesting. It had a gay character (not Daniels) but so what, I thought. At first it reminded me of the series Rectify. But apparently, once they start that point of view, they want to keep emphasizing it more and more. Heterosexual relationships were implied but not explicit. So I gave up. They ruined an otherwise good series to highlight that obsession, and it was not necessary at all IMO. Maybe they make more money that way.

Jesus spoke life and correction to sinners, not the other way around. Unfortunately, Disney/Hulu will dictate to the production of The Chosen - and we know how that will go.

The fact the shows producers were mormons and dressed in drag was no surprise to me.

I thought this started out really good - very thought provoking. But then lost steam and became standard science fiction fare.

Jesus didn’t “celebrate their lifestyles” and encourage them to continue in sin.
Jesus took the Pharisees to task when they misrepresented God’s word.

Then again, maybe we your issue with us is simply that we can properly identify “Shinola” and reject what you choose to use in its place.

What kind of Jesus is going to be represented by a group of folks that don’t believe that Jesus is God? They don’t accept the doctrine of the holy Trinity or believe in a Trinitarian baptism?

That saying isn’t even applicable: no one here is making a TV show about our Lord.
But then again, you don’t need to make a show to recognize that the Chosen has deliberately chosen to portray numerous people and events from the Gospel in a blasphemous or heretical manner.
