When ‘The Chosen’ Director Dallas Jenkins isn’t purposefully tweaking and antagonize Christians by posting videos of his crew members wearing the LGBTQ flag or insisting that he loves the same Jesus that his Mormon friends do, demonstrating again and again his false understanding of Jesus and the gospel, he is announcing new ‘partnerships’ regarding his show, sharing that the first three seasons of ‘The Chosen’ will soon be on Disney+ and Hulu.
According to Inside the Magic:
From a crowd-funded indie darling to a multi-platform underdog story, The Chosen is easily one of the most successful and popular TV dramas on any network, including Youtube, Amazon Prime, and Apple TV. So, it makes total sense that both Disney and Hulu would want to capitalize on the show’s massive and growing fanbase.
…As the merger with Hulu brought together two massive collections of media, Disney claimed a massive portion of the current streaming audience. Whether this was done as an easy cash grab, a way to better market the already popular series, or somewhere in between, there’s no doubt that it will indeed have results.
That’s right.
And not only that, Disney doubles down on it.
The Lord sat down with sinners, prostitutes and thieves.
They needed him the most!
Disney/Hulu needs him badly!
Last I heard, the first three seasons of The Chosen are now playing on Fox Nation. I would avoid woke Disney at all costs these days…
Sometimes, ‘strange bedfellows’ are better than no bedfellows at all. Meaning, at least the show would continue to be seen for a while. No business is all bad or all good. Fact!
The production quality of “Christian” shows has always been pretty poor compared to main stream ones. However “The Chosen” was a miraculous exception. The next miracle exception we can pray for is that Disney does not ruin it....
Several people I know who have a deep Christian faith love it. Jesus went where the sinners where he didn’t go amongst the true believers.
I don't care if a show is woke, or if they've got a magic negro as the lead. Just make it enjoyable!
They can't even do this!
I just slogged through "3 Body Problem" on Netflix. Diverse cast. I get it. Gotta have the black guy be the hero. I get it.
And I set all that aside. Just entertain me!
They couldn't even do that.
Agreed. I am a bit disturbed that some members of ‘The Chosen’ crew have decided to parade around in LGBTQ gear. But the show’s content is good, inspiring even. The more folks who see it, the better.
I just hope that Disney doesn’t interfere and change anything.
And for folks who have never seen the show, here’s Jesus talking to the Samaritan woman at Jacob’s well. Very, very good stuff.

Get it while it’s ‘Hot’, meaning before that show’s script has been heavily tampered with by Disney. Not a question of if, but when they will enforce the Disney idea of ‘improvements’
The Chosen was an immediate turn-off when they decided to characterize St. John the Baptist as some sort of prototype anarcho-Communist, as well as someone who was argumentative towards Jesus.
I wouldn’t touch this show with a ten foot pole. I don’t understand why Christians are so crazy about it.
The director and the actors are typical Hollyweird Christophobic leftists.
The main actor practices great soaking. That’s how he decided to take that role. A dead guy told him to.
Or when Jesus needed Matthew's help composing the Sermon on the Mount.
Same here. And it's a bit cultic in that some of it's fan base can't except the fact that it isn't for every sincere Christian, but persist on defending and pushing it like it were Jesus himself and not one producer's modern theatrical idea of Jesus. I've known and walked with the Jesus of the Bible for more than 40 years. I don't need or want someone else's image of him.

Indeed - it is troubling. There’s an archive of articles about this series which includes the articles with the troubling theology behind this production.
👍👍👍

I think you meant to type “grave-soaking” and yes that’s terribly pagan and terribly weird.
"And wait til you see Disney's live action remake of Snow White."
