Arkansas Gov. Sanders Issues Executive Order Defying Biden Admin’s Title IX Rule

Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders issued an executive order on Thursday directing state schools to defy the Biden administration’s expansion of Title IX protections to include students identifying as transgender.

The Republican governor’s order, signed on Thursday, asserts the state’s commitment to preserving the traditional understanding of sex as an “immutable characteristic of the human body” firmly “rooted in biology and the created order.”

“The government should celebrate, not erase, sex differences by providing proper protections for them,” the order reads. It also states that the Biden administration “has rejected reality and chosen to appease their left-wing base over students’ safety and best interests.”

It should be surprising to find out where the balls are located on the GOP team, but maybe not so surprising anymore.

“should celebrate”

Liberals love to “celebrate” things; I think the governor might be taking a dig at them by using their own words.

She is probably one of the most capable people to be the
vice president. She gets it in her soul, all the way. She
won’t let them manipulate her either.

If anyone knows of something I don’t, or perhaps forgot,
speak up.

She is my #1 choice.

I get emails from the Trump team asking who his VP is. I am going to recommend Sarah Sanders.

My governor has already said he’s not going to follow Biden’s warped interpretation of Title IX.

So far, we have DeSantis and Sanders. Who else will join?

Pay wall.

Oh. Didn't realize that.

It's a good article. Here's another short clip:

“The Biden administration is attempting to unilaterally rewrite federal law to advance its radical gender ideology against women and girls,” reads the order by Ms. Sanders, who once served as press secretary during the Trump administration.

Ms. Sanders said in her order that the new rule’s expanded definition of sex to include sexual orientation and gender identity was “plainly ridiculous.” She said it would “lead to males unfairly competing in women’s sports; receiving access to women’s and girls’ locker rooms, bathrooms, and private spaces; and competing for women’s scholarships.”

Thanks.

Title IV prohibits discrimination in education base upon “sex.” The Act does not define “sex,” which is why biden thinks he can define the term to meet his leftist agenda.

The SCOTUS is about to cut the balls off the unelected beaurocrates to make the law up for political purposes. Hopefully this reg will fall.

Good for her.

I finally visited Arkansas. It was my 50th state. (Refused to go there when Clinton stench was still around.)

What a beautiful place! Kudos to Sarah and others who made the state great again.

She’s gonna cave.
All Biden has to do is instruct federal agencies to withhold funds, like highway money for example.

Executives ruling by EO utterly defies our tripartrate Constitutional Republic’s governance....even when I totally agree with the Executive’s objectives.

Arkansas is full of awesome scenery and interesting surprises. Check out the Noel Owen Neal Cabin in Washington, Arkansas. The area around it is a state park. Great restaurant in Washington and lots of history there. Some important Texans passed through on their way to the Alamo. My wife and I stayed in this cabin in the fall of 2023 for our anniversary. I highly recommend it. It is located on Coulter Farmstead which is owned by a young family. This is a wedding and event venue with historical buildings that have been moved here. FYI - cabin is not safe for young children, my opinion. Not far from Hope AK which is interesting too. Several of Clinton’s Washington insiders were in his kindergarten class in Hope.
