I suspect there is WEF central planning supporters behind the push for this "utopia".
Will it include the open air poop area and needle collection drop?
Big deal and where and how do they think there food and other goods get to them.
They are living in LALA land.
15 minute city…where have I heard that before? 🤔
More power to them. They can stay t here and don’t try to impose it on the rest of us. They’ll learn soon enough that it won’t work.
I think it’s called a neighborhood. I’m 80. It’s nothing new.
Where do the utility and sanitation workers live?
Did you exchange
A walk-on part in the war
For a lead role in a cage?
Same way as usual
Stop it!
Utopia just WORKS by magic.
The utopian communities of the 1880s in some ways ushered in the horrors of Soviet Russia and Maoist China.
The next step is you won’t be able to leave your little 15 minute area.
By definition, that’s what most cities are or in my thought process, shxtholes full of useless liberal idiots, criminals and scum.
Are they willing to share ‘space’ with the druggies? If not....I don’t see where this goes.
thinking the same thing. there will be a fence, barbed of course, strategically placed “laser” turrets and a door that only let’s bugs in...they don’t come out.
I thought this was an old story based on the intro that states:
“A utopia-like space is set to be launched on March 11 in downtown San Francisco”
But then no, looks like more of the typical sloppy DM writing, as the May 11 date is provided a few lines down.
This makes the above quote even funnier because the ‘launch’ date is given as March 11, and you know how the SF and earthquakes go hand-in-hand on account of the anticipation of many for Sodom to crumble into a heap of ruins.
That’s why March 11 jumped right out.
This date in history —
March 11, 2011:

Yeah, that thought popped into my head right away after thinking ‘how are they going to keep the local derelicts out of their 15 minute utopia?’

‘community builders’, Patricia Mou, Thomas Schulz, Jason Benn and Adi Melamed
Set to be launched on May 11, City Campus, a nonprofit, plans to create a ‘campus’ in the neighborhoods of Hayes, Alamo and Duboce. (pictured: a futuristic picture of the planned space)
A GoFundMe page called ‘Help us Launch the City Campus Fund’ was created to accept donations. As of Tuesday evening, $380 has been raised.

A Salon for ‘Nones’(Apr 10, 2024)

The Commons is drawing ‘religion-curious’ people—including atheists, agnostics, and those who are ‘spiritual but not religious’—to discuss everything from spirituality and philosophy to art and technology, in a communal space that fosters a sense of self-discovery and belonging
Long article about this nonsense. It does show how totally hollow this idea is. You can already smell the human dung walking down streets near where they say they will “build”??
Any decent city downtown has anything you need within a 15-minute walk. In Manhattan, it’s a 5-minute walk.
Thanks for the history of March 11, 2011.
