oh OK, I didn’t realize that. I suppose city people moved looking for jobs, just like the dust bowl farmers.

Years ago and friend and I went quilt shopping in Mennonite/Amish country. The farmers put a little sign out on the mailbox if their wives had quilts for sale.

We stopped into about 10 homes. They all had a large cabinet (home-made) which was packed tight with quilts that were for sale. Very interesting to go into their homes. What we noticed was there was a disabled child in a wheelchair in many of the homes. Very sad to see. Also, nearly all of them wore glasses, including the children.

I get a bad feeling about Kate Middleton. I don’t pay much attention to the royals, but this sounds grave.

This is my baby cadbury. I started noticing some white hairs above his eye, and now the spot is much larger. I have no idea what it could be. Any ideas anyone?

Lots of inbreeding some Amish communities, not a diverse gene pool available.

Although I never heard of inbreeding causing poor eyesight. A lot of Asian children have myopia.
