Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell distanced himself from other Republican lawmakers who have called for the National Guard to be sent in to break up the antisemitic riots and demonstrations that have taken over multiple university campuses throughout the US over the last week and a half.
“What needs to happen, at least at the beginning, is these university presidents need to get control of the situation, allow free speech, and push back against antisemitism,” McConnell told Margaret Brennan on the CBS 'Face the Nation' program.
“I thought that was largely gone in this country, but we’ve seen a number of young people who are actually antisemitic. Why don’t they all sit down and have a civil conversation rather than trying to dominate the talk?” he asked.

It would be, if Republicans had candidates in the blue states to do a Giuliani or a Pataki run against the feckless incumbents.

How true it is. Unfortunately much of America and the left in particular believe education equates to intelligence. It’s likely why college professors are put on such a high pedestal and all the leftist leanings they preach is regarded as the gospel.
A few years back a diehard leftist suggested I had a PhD. I don’t, however I am quite creative where I design and build a variety of things, which is what gave him the idea. This clown then went on to college, got a degree and was just as dumb as before.
Claim that the presidents incited them and were the real ringleaders, and then commence multiple criminal cases against them, with gag orders. J6 everyone!

Even if NY stays solid blue, they’re making the Dems worry, and expend money to hold onto what they thought was safe territory. How sweet it is.
They were given a chance. They had since October to prepare for this. Everyone knew this was coming. They did nothing. Expel every protester, arrest every protester who isn’t a student and remove all foreign endowments. Those endowments, funded now mostly by Muslim oligarchs creates too much influence and most likely the reason for the protests. It is an infringement on the civil rights of Jews and those protesters need to be brought up on civil rights charges and sued by every Jewish student who has been impacted by this.
