Pope Francis has stated that “deniers of climate change” are “foolish” as they don’t believe “research,” and insisting that “climate change exists.”

In comments made to CBS Evening News and aired April 24, the 87-year-old Pontiff decried those whom CBS’s Norah O’Donnell described as “deniers of climate change.”

“There are people who are foolish, and foolish even if you show them research, they don’t believe it,” responded Francis. “Why? Because they don’t understand the situation or because of their interest, but climate change exists.”

Science advances when different points of view are encouraged, and debated. As the old saying goes, science is never settled.

But this “climate change research” is one-sided. All of it. Challengers are bullied into silence. Their papers are suppressed. This is not science. It’s a form of fascism.

Why is it foolish? After all, the Pope has been denying his faith for quite a few years now.

And the earth is flat....and the sun revolves around the earth. Why do Popes get a free pass. Are religious people just sheep?

What is Francis prepared to do with Massive Volcanoes that are pumping billions of tons of ash and vapor into the atmosphere? The news media has not even reported on the massive eruption of Mount Ruang in Indonesia last week and it pumped ash and vapors into the upper atmosphere with billions of tons of trash that will circle the globe for years. It is still erupting.

Yeah. Pope Francis is as gullible as an ignorant teenager.

The computer models for climate are as fraudulent as it is possible to be. When climate is accurately defined as a thermodynamic system, all the problems described in the computer models disappear. And the Pope doesn’t understand the physics, so he falls for the fraud. Sick.

Why should I listen to a man who wears a silly dress?

Rather, why should you listen to a man who speaks in an area where he has no authority, and no special training, no evidence of insight?

Regarding dresses, Chesterton noted:

"But when men wish to be safely impressive, as judges, priests or kings, they do wear skirts, the long trailing robes of female dignity."

Sounds like we need to tax the Church so we can pay for all this.

Once again from someone who was raised Catholic, screw that Argie Commie.

As an American, I consider it an honor to be attacked by this pope.

Francis’ problem is that he doesn’t really think he’s the Pope.

Strange times. England has a Prince who threw everything away so he can help his grifter wife hawk strawberry jam.

IIRC that “issue” is so far down the list of concerns for most Americans it barely counts at all. Can’t they impeach this clown? Did the college of cardinals punk the church?

At one time in Germany in the late 1920s most didn’t care one way or the other about Jewish people.

Propaganda and terror tactics changed all that.

Since he likes to talk about climate change, he should cite the passages in the Bible which tell people it's their obligation to prevent climate change.

If Joshua could make the sun stand still, all the people together should have the ability to make climate change stop.
