Hoo boy would this ever complicate things. Iran with nukes is one of the last things we need. Although there had been rumors for awhile that Iran was on the cusp of getting a nuke. They could be bluffing though just to keep Israel guessing as to what they’ve got.

What’s the “western narrative” to begin with?
Occurred to me that phrase is being thrown around by you as if you are someone outside “the west” looking in.
The Iranians were involved in discussions in Islamabad last week. The Pakistanis have promised to provide Iran an immediate nuclear retaliatory capability should Israel escalate with any type nuke. There have been reports that Israel has considered an EMP nuclear attack with minimal expected casualties. I would assume the Pakistanis would consider such an attack as breaching the nuclear threshold.
The ball is in Israel’s court as of now.

Iran’s intermediate range ballistic missiles are superior to what both the US and Russia have because we stopped development of them due to the start treaty with Russia. The Iranians aren’t as technologically backward as you seem to think.

The Western narrative is false. The Iranian attack was meant as a demonstration. They used their lesser drones and cruise missiles to identify the Israeli air defense radars and launchers and to bait Israel and the U.S. into expending some $3B in assets. Iran used their ballistic missiles (not their hypersonics) to hit the three most heavily defended targets on earth, the two air bases and the intel outpost. Iran can put as many ballistic and hypersonic missiles on Dimona as it will take. Just like in Ukraine, the Patriots are useless against Russian hypersonics. If you would care to hear reality to compare to the narrative, I’d suggest a twenty minute investment of your time here.
