America needs a House and Senate filled with members who are aligned with “Donald Trump’s America first agenda,” Rep. Jim Banks (R-IN) said during an interview on Breitbart News Saturday in which he said that Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) essentially “handed the Speaker’s gavel over to the Democrats.”

Banks discussed Johnson flip-flopping on Ukraine aid and discussed one of the more shocking developments over the last week.

THAT is probably at least one step too far when the vast majority of them hate Trump with a blinding passion.

I'd be happy with them just having a generic "America First Agenda"

And I'd settle for them just not hating America and American Patriot peasants.

They showed their disdain for us again by waving Ukraine flags today.

D-uh. Republicans have only one more vote in the House than the Democrats. The Democrats vote as a solid bloc and the Republicans don't. So yes, effectively the Democrats have the gavel and have it whatever Johnson does. The reason he doesn't literally turn it over to them is that they'd parade around the Capitol grounds with it, like Pelosi did.

I disagree wholeheartedly. This kind of corporate/globalist welfare for white people is right out of the Bush-Cheney-McCain-Romney-Boehner-Ryan-McCarthy playbook. If this bill had been passed in 2017, Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer would have been blowing gaskets over it.

I don’t disagree with that … but only because he promised NOT to do exactly what he ended up doing. But let’s be honest here: in this case he was perfectly consistent with the corporate-globalist-welfare agenda of the Republican Party going all the way back to George Bush I.
