Me either.
When I was a very young teen, my cousin, two upper-crust Catholic school girls, and I “borrowed” my uncle’s car at 2:00 a.m. and broke down in the middle of those projects.
I wasn’t scared of the gunshots or my dad; I was scared of the Catholic school girl’s old man. He had the power to get me kicked out of school, and could order my murder as easily as he could order a cup of coffee.
We were told by a local street corner pharmacist that the area is so rough that cops don’t go there, and the most violent drug dealers avoid it.
He took us back to his apartment, his grandmother fed us, and the “pharmacist” had an associate repair the car, and we got the girls back to that Garden District home around 15 minutes before her dad woke up.
Wondering around NO unarmed is asking for it.
Obviously I would not go there. BUT, it seems like good idea. Let’s phase it in gradually, first ban the Chief from being armed. Then stop all the police ‘officers’ from being armed. Then ban all government employees from being armed. Then if that works out, the general public.
It defies any logic I’ve ever seen.
Aren’t there laws against almost any gun being used in a
crime? What will more laws do, to stop gun violence?
So what do they do, they make more laws.
Keep the innocent defenseless. Yeah, that’ll fix it! /s

I’m sure banning law-abiding citizens from carry firearms ill stop the criminals.
Once more: Making the good people helpless will not make the bad people harmless.
I moved out of that hell-hole in 1970 because I foresaw what was coming. They seem to get more stupid with time. Lord help us all!
Oakland CA!
She is inept and should be retired somewhere raising Geraniums. It appears again there are no consequences for failure in America anymore.
