Sen. Rand Paul has directed a stern warning at former President Trump, cautioning that his continued backing of Speaker Johnson could alienate a significant portion of his base.
“If Trump supports this monstrous, unpaid for foreign aid debt buster, he will lose the very supporters who comprise his vanguard. Mark my words,” Sen. Rand Paul warned.

These Marxists have been at it for over a century and are about to spike the football in the end-zone. There’s no way in hell they’re letting Trump back into the White House, Johnson, or not.
This is melodramatic. I don’t support Ukrainian welfare, but most people do not care at all about the issue one way or the other. Trump could take any position he wants on Ukraine aid and it would not matter.
I think McCarthy set it up where Johnson would play conservative, play up to Trump and get his support by pretending to be pro Border security and anti-Ukraine funding. Once in he continued to be pro-Trump until he made his move to do a complete turnaround thus betraying his Border border America first vows. This now puts Trump on the spot on whether he will continue to support Johnson or disavow him publicly.

I will still vote for Trump. I’m still deciding whether to leave all the down party blank. I see no difference between Republican and Democrat.

Paul doesn’t seem to get that in a war for the country’s soul, an imperfect warrior is better than none at all. Trump is all we have when the GOP is full of useless RINOS at the top. The deep state got bigger under OBiden and yes even under Trump and unless Trump takes radical action, it will continue to get bigger. And will contuse to be used against the American people.
Mike Johnson is a disappointment for certain. He has betrayed our Constitution. And while I would agree with Ron Paul on a lot of principles he is naive when it comes to the dedication of Trump’s followers.
I will be voting for Trump and hope for the best. But I am under no illusions that unless a miracle happens, the contagion affecting America is fatal.
Trump should be called to the carpet over his support of Johnson, by his supporters, but he won’t be. It’s already proven they will accept and excuse whatever Trump does, starting with the deadly “vaccines.” This enables Trump’s worst inclinations, unfortunately.
Would a Democrat speaker really be any different? Their priorities are already getting passed.
