The US Supreme Court on Monday ruled that Idaho can enforce its ban on sex changes for children. Healthcare professionals can face up to 10 years in prison for mutilating children or providing puberty blockers to them.
In December Judge Lynn Winmill, a Clinton appointee, ruled that Idaho could not enforce the transgender ban while the lawsuit by two plaintiffs made its way through the courts.
The US Supreme Court 6-3 granted an emergency request filed by Idaho’s Attorney General.
Idaho previously enacted the Vulnerable Child Protection Act which protected children from dangerous puberty blockers and procedures that remove body parts.
Far-left activists sued to stop Idaho from protecting children so Idaho’s Attorney General quickly acted and appealed to the 9th Circuit. After the 9th Circuit denied its request, the Attorney General’s office appealed to the US Supreme Court to allow the law to take effect while the case makes its way through the courts.
Idaho’s Attorney General Raul Labrador celebrated the win.
BREAKING: The US Supreme Court just ruled to allow Idaho to enforce the Vulnerable Child Protection Act, a law that protects children from harmful and experimental drugs and procedure, while the case proceeds at the Ninth Circuit.
This is a BIG win to protect vulnerable kids!

Should have been 9-0.
I agree, it should have been 9-0.
Make that 10 years to life and I’d be happy.
Maybe such a law on the federal level if enough Republicans get in this year? I'm not optimistic, but who knows?
A rare bit of sanity from SCOTUS. Surprisingly, Roberts didn’t vote with the libtards.
Pretty crazy that a few years ago this would have been a nail biter.
Excellent! Was just going to post about this.
Not yet a win. At best it is not an immediate loss. The case still has to go through lower courts.
3 SC Judges think it’s ok to mutilate children. It’s even worse that this made it to the SC. That means several lower courts sided with the butchers.
Along with health care participants, teachers, social workers, and counselors who advised the “patient” should also be liable for imprisonment.
Now lets see if TX and FL can push this thru.
Yes, 6-3 on this subject in Idaho, I think is disappointing.
I think we’re reading too much good news into this ruling. This is just a REPRIEVE. Let that sink in. We need to think some more about whether to let children get butchered by an encroaching, demonic agenda?
In a sane would it would have been an instant, unambiguous “NO!”, case closed. But now we have to “discuss” it.
I’d give them 50 yrs and that’s still not as long as they’ll ruin some kids lives with that.
A side issue - AJ Gorsuch takes aim in his Concurrence on the trend of state, district and nationwide injunctions, which is welcome as these continue to be used, and he even mention “judge shopping”. In this case, he calls out the District Court for their sloppy Preliminary Injunction
Because he isn’t one.
SCOTUS ruled on it.
