They will likely shoot down any drones flying through Jordanian airspace. Shutting down commercial traffic allows them to do so without risk of accidentally shooting down a passenger or cargo jet.

I don’t think that Iran will attack.

The attack has already started. They launched the UAVs to attack Israel but they are still in Irani/Iraqi airspace. Jordan has closed its entire airspace. Let's see how many make it through if there is any shootdown capability in Jordan.
