House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.), alongside former President Donald Trump, announced the introduction of legislation aimed at tightening the requirements for voter registration in federal elections.
Speaker Johnson traveled to Florida on Friday for a crucial meeting with the one individual capable of saving his leadership position, former President Donald Trump. The meeting comes after he approved of warrantless spying on American citizens, jeopardizing the Fourth Amendment right.
Laura Loomer wrote earlier, “President Trump needs to cancel his meeting at Mar a Lago with Speaker Johnson. He just broke a tied vote and voted in favor of not requiring a warrant for the government to spy on Americans. Donald Trump said Kill FISA. Mike Johnson just helped Joe Biden have an easier time spying on President Trump’s 2024 campaign and paved the way for increased mass surveillance of Americans. He’s trying to sabotage Trump!”
In an attempt to save his career, Speaker Johnson emphasized the critical importance of upholding election integrity, citing concerns over non-citizens influencing election outcomes due to the “open border catastrophe.”
“States are currently prohibited from asking someone to prove they’re a citizen,” Speaker Johnson said.
He highlighted the ease with which individuals can register to vote while applying for a driver’s license under the National Voter Registration Act of 1993, commonly known as the “motor voter law.”
“If an individual only asserts or simply states that they are a citizen, they don’t have to prove it. They can register that person to vote in a federal election. You see, states are currently prohibited,” Johnson said.
“Believe it or not, the states are prohibited from asking someone to prove that they’re a citizen. The federal voter registration form just has a check-up box. If you do that, you’re good. The states can’t allow it. We think that’s a serious problem.”
“We only want US citizens to vote in US elections. But there are some Democrats who don’t want to do that. We believe that one of their designs, one of the reasons for this open border, which everybody ask all around the country, why would they do this?”

How many Registered Voters have a REAL ID?
If I were a Supervisor of Elections I would want to know how many registered voters had a REAL ID and how many registered voters had a SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER.
The 'Rats are fairly good at deception. I take a more jaundiced view. While it is true that Genghis Joe has flown (illegally) tens of thousands of invaders into Florida, for example, I doubt many stay here. We don't provide housing and meals and 'sanctuary' conditions. Gov. DeSantis just signed a bill outlawing squatters seizing homes; sanctuary cities take the opposite view, abandoning property rights. Florida is enforcing the law against illegals being able to get a job.
California rolls out the sanctuary welcome mat, even offering free health care to all invading comers. Maine and Massachusetts are building housing for illegals, taking away benefits from tax paying citizens. The evidence is strong that these invaders are migrating to where they get the most benefit.
Who benefits? You seem to be holding on to the idea that you still live in a Constitutional Republic. The 'Rats don't see it that way. As I posted over 5 years ago, a 'country' without borders is not a country, it is a territory; a territory is ruled by the strong man - now Genghis Joe. Notice how he ignores the law and defies Supreme Court orders. Also notice the somewhat weak pushback from the Swamp... mostly bravado talk but little 'action'.
You are witnessing the end of everything dear if Donald Trump loses this election. Look at Genghis Joe! He has not allowed his strongest Dem opponent on any primary ballots and refuses to let Secret Service protect Robert Kennedy, Jr. He has multiple flimsy criminal charges against his main opponent, DJT, and they are running roughshod over all of his Constitutional rights -- ALL the acts of every dictator we have ever seen. For three years I have been the only one on social media (that I know of), including FR, to accuse Joe of being a dictator. Now more voices, Like Dan Bongino, are seeing the truth of it.
Gird up your loins. We are going to have to be strong in whatever comes in the next year. This administration is moving us closer and closer to war with Russia! The dollar is being propped up by the Fed but not for much longer. Joe is trying to hide his support for a war of Iran with Israel. China is seriously threatening Taiwan.
