Representative Mike Turner (R-OH) said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that Russian propaganda has “absolutely” infected the Republican base.
Anchor Jake Tapper said, “Let’s turn to Ukraine, an issue that’s important to you and your fellow Republican Chairman, Michael McCaul, who runs the form refers committee. Congressman McCaul made a comment this week about what he says sounds like Russian propaganda from some conservative media. Why it’s so difficult to explain to Republican voters why supporting Ukraine is important. He said, “I think Russian propaganda has made its way into the United States, unfortunately, and it’s infected a good chunk of my party’s base. He singled out primetime shows on conservative channels. Do you agree with him and how big is this problem?”

It’s not Russian propaganda to understand the fundamental reality that UKraine on its own cannot win a hot war with Russia, period. Western nations can spend every ounce of coin in their treasuries supplying arms and munitions to UKraine and it will not change that outcome.
Unless you are willing to see wester military personnel fighting and dying in UKraine Russia will win this conflict period.

UKraine cannot regains its borders prior to this conflict, and will eventually be turned into rubble the longer it drags on.

Once UKraine showed they were not going to be easy pray and pushed back the initial wave, peace talks should have been the highest priority, not making insane claims that they could out and out defeat Russia.

What national interest is served by further indenting our children in an attempt to push Russia that will fail, unless of course we put our sons and daughters over there to fight and die? And what national interest is served by that?
