High Flying Bird, Jefferson Airplane
With their first female singer Signe Anderson on vocals. Signe had a young child and tried touring but she decided it would be best to quit the band to raise her child. She still sang in local bands, and lived into her 70’s iirc.

I used to hear a short recording on the local radio every December. It waa a tape of dogs barking in time for the Jingle Bells song. It was both cute and annoying due to constant overplaying.
So, one could say those dogs “performed”.

Line in “Mr. Bojangles”:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j3YMyW0SqmU
He spoke with tears
Of fifteen years
How his dog and him
They traveled about
His dog up and died
He up and died
After twenty years, he still grieves

They are a recent revelation for me (they have a channel on Sirius-XM and I’m drawn to it).
I had no idea they could be so “bluesgrass/folksy”. Their stage stuff is mostly jazzed up versions of their studio songs, and sometimes you’d have to be pretty snockered to enjoy it. But their studio stuff, as recorded on “American Beauty” and “Workingman’s Dead” albums give me a lot of good entertainment.
