Hopefully without the little fur ball needing basic cat things like litter box cleaning, and bugging her to play, she can rest better after the surgery and heal up.
Strangely enough, hubby didn’t say much of anything. He wanted to know why he couldn’t just go to boarding, which is why if something happens to me my animals are going to go to that Connecticut shelter to get good homes. He knows boarding means they go to a cage.
I didn’t even tell him the good part, as far as he’s concerned, that I will postpone getting any kittens. I think all that would be too traumatic to our house guest and Cooper.

The same way I got my kittens to Connecticut, there are a surprising number of animal transports all around the country. From luxury Vans where they are a single occupant and door to door service, to those intended mainly for rescues where they have set stops and hundreds of animals per trip.
I know what I have around here that goes to the Northeast but I need to investigate what goes from Texas to here. I have a friend in Arkansas that gets her rescues up to the northeast, so there are quite a few that go a long distance.

re school staff, the only thing liberals know how to do is pad their unions. Getting my teaching certificate in Texas in 2001 involved classes that only taught liberal indoctrination. Nothing about how to actually teach. I figured if this was in Texas, it’s worse everywhere else.

I do a different version of this.
Smash one med. Avocado. Put on toasted Sourdough bread or Texas toast. Scramble 2 eggs with some cheese, garlic, frozen seasoning mix (vegies) put on top of Avocado & bread. Salt & pepper everything to taste. Sliced cherry tomatoes on top is desired.
