At least seven children between the ages of 12 and 17 were wounded in a mass shooting in busy downtown Indianapolis late Saturday night.
Officers were on patrol just after 11 p.m. when they heard gunshots near the Circle Centre Mall, a shopping plaza downtown, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department told Fox 59.
After rushing to the area of West Maryland Street, officers located a “large group of juveniles,” including six with gunshot wounds, Police Deputy Chief Tanya Terry said during a Sunday morning news conference, according to CNN.

I dont think online shopping had as much to do with it at the time as was suggested. I remember people complaining about certain elements already in the late 70s. Its almost more like people turned to it only to escape the hassle and confrontations one had the potential to encounter due to failures of DA/police.
Online shopping was far oversold as the solution by those trying to make a few bucks but to the detriment of the consumer. It seems like half of the products or more on the internet are fraudulent in some way from entirely non-existent to not in any way resembling the description. Society is going to have to be forced to go back to one income families just so that one can stay home to test and return all the trash the UPS man is dropping off.
There is nothing like being able to actually see and handle a product before making a purchase. Brick and mortar could make a comeback, thats up to the consumers but obviously dependent on enforcement issues. That of course has a lot to do with politicians in office. In a round about way people have accidentally voted to be intentionally ripped off by online retailers.
They could be coming out of a movie.
This is Indiana not Mississippi.
“. . . so that one can stay home to test and return all the trash the UPS man is dropping off.” Hah! No kidding. I know I’m very cautious when buying via Amazon. I’ve learned thru experience, for example, to avoid third-party sellers who boast of their “minority-owned” status. Brick-and-mortar is still best, when possible, though prices are always higher. My locally-owned Ace Hardware is a perfect example: outstanding customer service but at a price. Still, online shopping is a godsend to those of us living in the boonies with very few local retailers.
Murder rate in Indianapolis is roughly the same as Chicago according to my search.
Children - out at the mall after 11pm
May as well shut down the mall. Here in Cleveland, we’ve had all kinds of malls closed down because of fatherless “yutes”: Euclid Mall, Severance Mall, Richmond Mall, Madison Mall, Randall Mall, Parmatown, etc. (heavy on the “etc.”)
Beachwood Mall is on its way out soon,
They used to be called “juvenile delinquents”.
Oh...well they were probably set upon by ruffians as they waited for the mall chapel to open. No doubt they wanted to be there for the early Easter service, and ne’er-do-wells took advantage, hoping to rob them of the money they’d saved up for the offering plate. Sad....
Will Joe, Kamala, Al, Jesse, Hakeem, et al condemn this? No way…it’s just people with black skin killing others with black skin. It’s just their culture. Ho hum.
You need to change the flag on your home page.
I remember when that Circle Centre Mall was built. It was beautiful and people from all around went there.
Any indoor mall around here is almost defunct. They have been replaced by gatherings of stores in individual buildings that you have to go to and get cold or drive and park at the next store. No warm inside gathering and roaming spots.
Indy was taken over by RATs and they have ruined it like they do every place else they get their hands on.
“This story will die very quickly.”
NBC was amazingly quiet in mass shooting news this morning. Odd.
It’s not that the story will die; it won’t even be born.
I love Amazon and have had no problems with it. I do stay away from third party sellers because their policy is not covered by Amazon. I find any item I want or need at Amazon. Retail stores just cannot have an inventory like Amazon. It is great for people who live far away from a lot of retail.
I have never had one item that Amazon would not let me return.
No need to see any pictures......and WTF are these kids doing OUT AT 11:00 PM???
I suppose we’re a little short on subhuman savages here in Idaho.
The juvenile groups are just getting started at 11 PM. Certain areas where they roam don’t settle down until after 2-3 AM.
Da clubs also close when they want too, not paying any attention to ordinances or laws.
“a little short”
Snort!! Thank goodness our pioneers harvested their own wheat, cut their own lumber and dug the mines themselves.
