Governor Kathy Hochul has issued a proclamation declaring March 31st as Transgender Day of Visibility.
On Sunday, dozens of state landmarks will be lit blue, pink, and white to acknowledge New York's trans community.
“Today we celebrate Transgender Day of Visibility by acknowledging the contributions that members of the transgender community have made in New York State and across the country,” Governor Hochul said. “I am proud of the strength transgender New Yorkers display every day and want to make one thing clear: you are always welcome in New York. You are loved.”

It would appear to be one of the minor laws of nature that those who keep sticking it “in your face” will sooner or later get something stuck in their face...with a lot more force.

Easter Sunday. Biden is pulling the same crap at the national level. This along with the Diller shooting are making my blood boil today about Judas Pence’s de facto Biden endorsement. The Dems have put this country on a disastrous course, yet Pence, due to his own ego and spitefulness, prefers the Dems’ rot to a 2nd Trump term. What a petty feckless bastard
March 31 was chosen as the "International Transgender Day of Visibility" back in 2014. Easter, based on a lunar calendar, varies from year to year.
This year, Easter falls on March 31. Easter won't fall on March 31 again until the year 2086, 62 years from now.
This is one of those opportunistic coincidences that happens during highly controversial and highly competitive elections where the slightest appearance of insensitivity can be "pounced" on by the other side.
I'm not saying don't do it anyway, I'm just saying know what you're doing.

If you think just because millennia have passed that God has changed and won’t deal with NYC as He did ancient Israel in those days with cities like Sodom and Gomorrah, you are sorely mistaken. I call upon the whole of New York City to repent while there is yet time. Behold, judgment stands at the door, and it will be swift, righteous, and complete.

My question as well. I’d never heard of it prior to its (apparently) falling on perhaps the most Holy of Christian Holidays... Has anyone found a statement by Biden on any of the other ‘Days of Visibilty’?
