An 18-year-old motorist is facing homicide charges for the deaths of a Washington state mother and three of the kids she was ushering around after he allegedly drove his Audi A4 more than 100 miles per hour into their minivan, prosecutors said.
Chase Daniel Jones is accused of killing the 38-year-old mom Andrea Hudson as well as Boyd Buster Brown, 12, and sisters Matilda Wilcoxson, 13, and Eloise Wilcoxson, 12, when he barreled into their vehicle, pushing it into another two cars on the road, officials said.
Two of Hudson’s children who were also in the minivan were hospitalized and remain in intensive care.
Jones — who was badly injured — allegedly blew through a red light at an intersection where the crash happened on Tuesday in the community of Fairwood, a King County sheriff’s official said in a police report obtained by the Seattle Times.
Jones was driving as fast as 112 mph with no signs of braking on a road where the speed limit is 40 mph, authorities alleged.
He was also seen weaving in and out of traffic leading up to the deadly incident, according to the police report that cited witnesses.
The teen bought the Audi a month ago after totaling two other vehicles in less than a year in wrecks caused by speeding, King County prosecutors said, according to mynorthwest.com.
Jones was charged with four counts of vehicular homicide, two counts of vehicular assault and reckless driving, Fox 13 reported.

If he bought it from the auction, he probably got it for around $2000-$3000. All my kids first cars were VERY nice, and purchased at auction. Never paid more than $1000 ... and yes, I was in the Seattle area. I bought a total of 12 cars at auction there. This includes BMW 750 series (2), Saab 9-5 (2), Ford F-150, a couple of Jags, a Mercedes, etc. They were all about a decade old at the time.
I wish him hell on earth during what time he spends in prison before an inmate deals with him permanently.
They just popped an 18 year old in Kennewick Washington doing 164mph in his parents A4. As soon as they lit him up he pulled over.

A poor black kid just got probation the other day for randomly stabbing some old lady.

Parents ought to do time for murder also.
And before you make the it was only “vehicular manslaughter” plea, in my opinion going 112 in a 40 mph zone is MURDER!
I saw that memorial the other day on youtube. The mom was driving the kids back from being at the school for some event - all the kids were homeschooled by the mom and another mom.
Mom driving was killed, two of her children were injured. One is still critical.
Two other girls, sisters from one of the families that spoke died.
The boy that died, Buster Brown was from a third family.
The two families spoke of each other as one family. The composure by the two sets of parents is amazing. As is their faith. The surviving husband was absent, and in the hospital to be with his two injured children.
The one father spoke of having the road and intersection looked at to help prevent further accidents. Although not sure what a road design can do if a punk kid is going to do 112 mph in a 40 mph zone. Maybe a traffic circle?
My kids car wouldn’t go that fast. They were automatic so they couldn’t get speed downhill. And… there was always the reality of losing a piece at high rates of speed. I purposely didn’t give the fast cars. I would’ve governed them, but I was too lazy to do it.
Only rich kids can afford to buy an Audi after totalling two cars in one year.
I wonder if that Audi was a S4. A standard A4 wont go 164...
Oh I agree that the kid committed murder or at a minimum manslaughter, and needs to spend “some” time in jail. My only issue was with people focusing in out his financial state. The kid could just as easily have been going over 100 in an old pickup truck.
