Enormous infernos ripped through the night sky in the occupied port city of Sevastopol.
And as dawn broke this morning, Ukrainian forces announced they had hit two large Russian warships- Yamal and Azov.
Both damaged vessels are Ropucha-class landing ships, 370ft long, 4,000 ton behemoths designed for D-Day-style amphibious assaults.
Ukraine has attacked this type of ship before - sinking sister ships Tsezar Kunikov and Novocherkassk.
Kyiv is reported to have used British Storm Shadow missiles in the strike - 600mph long-range weapons which have proved effective against the Russians.
Putin's crony in Crimea, Mikhail Razvozhaev, was forced to admit the Russian military fought off Ukrainian rockets in a "massive attack" on Saturday.
Local reports said the barrage had also targeted the Belbek military airfield - home to Putin's prized fighter jet fleet.
Ukraine's daring hit comes as the latest embarrassment to embattled Putin's war effort - possibly striking land, air and sea via Putin's Black Sea Fleet comms centre.
The centre of the naval port was left "on fire", according to witnesses.
A Crimea Telegram channel said: "The missiles arrived at the main special communications center of the Russian Black Sea Fleet".
Ukrainian missiles have also reportedly hit several buildings in the occupied region...
Ukraine has had great success chipping away at Vlad's prized Black Sea Fleet, and in September they used the missiles along with explosive-packed drone boats to damage two key Russian ships...

Fully understand
The negative is well founded
Sadly
Oh, yeah, 350,000 well equipped and well trained professional soldiers against 500,000 poorly trained, poorly armed conscripts with 19th century leadership 200 KMs behind the front. That’ll be interesting.
It was already done in Operation Desert Storm.
NATO does not have the military assets, aside from ICBMs.
Talk about someone being delusional. Tomahawk missiles, F-117 Nighthawks, F35's, etc.
Merely reelling of the names of several weapons systems randomly, does nothing.
You need to know the numbers and placement of them; the number of spare parts as well as how quickly we can replenish stocks; and for the airplanes, how many pilots.
You also have to figure out how well those weapons can be used to drive out entrenched defenders, who have near-peer or peer superiority, instead of against Third World dictatorships.
Then you have to figure out how to pay for all this when the government is $35 trillion in debt; and when the armed services cannot make recruiting requirements.
And then figure out how we will supply the fuel when Biden has emptied the strategic petroleum reserve: Trump tried to refill it at the record low oil prices during his term but the treasonous Dems in Congress stopped it.
Hint: the government is starting to mail out letters to people who used to be in the armed services, telling them they are subject to recall.
Go wank off, somewhere else, troll.
THREE ships in Sevastopol last night. Ivan Khurs, too.
You're going to seriously argue that the Russian military would not be crushed by NATO? Unbelievable
Ukraine received a handful of British Storm Shadows that the Russians are unable to intercept, and that are devastating the Russian Black Sea Fleet and Russian airbases. US has about 4,000 Tomahawks.
Then you have to figure out how to pay for all this when the government is $35 trillion in debt;
Sorry, but that ones really ridiculous. I guess we would surrender when our debt hits 40 trillion. Okay
What Ivan Khurs doink?
Most people don’t confuse support with the observation that Russia and China are using the Houthis as a proxy against the NATO west. But you aren’t most people. You bring your skills as a tire inflator for the government to the debate, and we’re all dopier for it.
Two Russian ships hit by British missiles. Can someone explain to me how this ISN’T a prelude to WWIII?
—
If it was, your masters would have done something different almost a year ago when Storm missiles were first used against them. You could say the same thing (and maybe you did) when HIMARS arrived, when Leopards arrived, when Patriot batteries arrived.
Chill the drama and calm your HPD.
I notice you didn't reply to the comments about the stores and replenishment rates for weapons systems; nor for their inefficiency at taking and holding ground.

If we used 4,000 Tomahawks, Russia would interpret that as an existential threat and go nuclear. I guess you're looking forward to the destruction of CONUS.

Glowie status *confirmed*.
I notice you didn't reply to the comments about the stores and replenishment rates for weapons systems; nor for their inefficiency at taking and holding ground.
Here we go, name calling. Another one demanding an answer to every point they made without ever addressing my main point- if Russian military is so mighty, why are they struggling in Ukraine for two years, descending into WW1 style artillery battles and are unable to establish air superiority over Ukraine(UKRAINE STILL HAS JETS FLYING), a country that basically has no air force?
I notice you didn't reply to the comments about the stores and replenishment rates for weapons systems; nor for their inefficiency at taking and holding ground.
Not much would be needed for replenishment as Russian forces would be devastated in the first strikes. No one is going to invade Russia proper, but in Ukraine the entrenched Russians would be swept out by Ukraine without their Russian airforce.
If we used 4,000 Tomahawks, Russia would interpret that as an existential threat and go nuclear
Russia would go nuclear if those Tomahawks were used in occupied Ukraine?
I am calling you out as a troll. Because you are one.
The rest of your drivel is based on lies, propaganda, and false premises.
Oh, and now you’ve begun Sea-Lioning.
Go felch a camel, troll.
What in the dickens is a “redundant open frame warship”?
The name of my next pet.
Sure, Russia mighty! /s
That is not my monkey.
He doesn’t tell me what to play.
I don’t tell him what to do with his money.
It isn’t that Russia is mighty, troll.
It’s that the US MIC (see the Eisenhower exit speech on the same) got used to kicking ass of Third World banana republics, and thought we could do the same in the Ukraine.
It’s that the pantywaist Ivy League vermin that infest the Biden (mal)administration got drunk on their own sperm, and on defending Ukrainian corruption at all costs.
Remember when the GOP-led Congress said we didn’t have $5 billion for a Southern border wall?
Remember that last $65 billion to the Ukraine?
They’re pissed that Putin is destroying their kickback playground.
Or have you forgotten Lt. Col. Vindman and his role in Peach-Mint? He bragged he was offered the equivalent of the Sec. of Defense position in the Ukraine.
I wish he had taken it, he’d probably have been vaporized by a Khinzal by now.
BTW, what happened to the Ukraine’s Spring Offensive, which had real US equipment like Bradleys and Abrams, which was supposed to give the Ukraine a Flawless Victory, like in Mortal Kombat?
Troll.
You should have been banned long ago.
The new border of Ukraine, with the soon to be liberated Odessa.
Rejoice, the people have spoken.
Right, our Tomahawk missiles are only good against "Third World banana republics", because the Russian S-400 would intercept them all, exactly like their interception of all the British Shadow Hawks devastating the Russian fleet in Crimea... Idiotic
AND STILL no answer why Russians are struggling in Ukraine for two years against a country with no airforce, navy or missile force but would somehow would not be crushed by NATO.
