At least 40 people were killed and more than 100 injured when five gunmen dressed in camouflage opened fire with automatic weapons at people at a concert in the Crocus City Hall near Moscow, in one of the worst such attacks on Russia in years.

Flames leapt into the sky and plumes of black smoke rose above the venue, Reuters pictures and video showed.

Russian media reported a second blast at the venue and there were reports that some of the gunmen had barricaded themselves somewhere in the building.

...

It was not immediately clear who the gunmen were.

The Zelensky Clown has taken The Ukraine and smashed it into pieces. He has ordered the death of nearly 500,000 young men and now he's working on young women and old men

Put up or shut up Preston. You are the worst propagandist gas lighter on this forum. Give evidence. Give an argument. You can't because you are a pathetic little manlet who has some weird Putin fetish. Nothing you have ever written on this forum isn't an outright lie or inhumanly stupid. I wish that were hyperbole but I can't even believe a foreign operative whose family was being threatened if he didn't make the most ridiculous and provably false statements ever could make up this stuff.

I honestly can't believe there are human beings behind some of these posts. I could easily make a better case for Russia if I was so inclined to be a psychopathic and amoral monster. Even a third grader asked to create a pro-Russian essay could come up with something less embarrassing.

I don't see how the management of FR doesn't see this as an embarrassment to the site in particular and conservatism in general. I can no longer read FR the same way as I used to. Now I have to question everything on here because some of the arguments are so poorly formed and some of the "facts" are just things people wish were true and made up on the spot.

People like you have made me so cynical. I am more weary of people on "my side" than I am of those on the left now. I pretty much have to fact check everything said here because of all of the crap spewed.

And probably why he got the polonium tea treatment.

If it wasn't for that, then yes I'll have to say that the Chechens were behind the apartment bombings in Moscow.

But since he got poisoned, it's obvious that the FSB did it.

Putin is ruthless enough to do something like that as long as he thinks it benefits Russia in the long run.

I was surprised to find out about this on the 4 pm news. Before I left FR for dinner, I wrote RUSSIA in the Search bar, but found no one had posted anything since January. It is important to enter these Keywords when posting an article.

When I looked at the more recent ISIS article now just posted at FR, I saw that while there was a Keyword for Moscow, there again was nothing for Russia, so I put it in myself. I and I presume others have missed a lot of interesting articles because people who are posting about Russia, Ukraine, Putin, Zelenskyy, Prigozhin, Moscow, or St. Petersburg are so busy posting their new articles, that they are failing to consider what KEYWORDS might bring new readers to their posts and comments. Just having a PING LIST does not do the whole informing job.

Uh no, Mr. combatant! All governments do evil things. It’s ironic that our embassy warns of threats specifically at concert venues and all of a sudden there it is. If they had the credible information and disseminated that information, maybe the innocent civilians who were killed would still be alive.

“ Id vote for Putin long before Biden and his abortion mill visiting VP and Fdg packing sec of trans”

More lunatic non sequitur random ranting.

Maybe in your psychotic fantasy world there’s an election like this.

You can vote in it. More power to you. Here I’ll contribute a billion dollars to your candidate in this world.

Good luck. Let’s us know who wins.

The poisoning doesn’t tell us.

Russians like Putin are absolutely ruthless in getting revenge against “traitors”.

It would be treason to reveal that the FSB did the bombing. But someone like Putin would see it as an even greater treason to falsely claim the FSB did it.

I'm not on your side, I'm on the side of peace. Take your neocon ways and peddle them to someone else. As far as proof, try opening your eyes. NATO is a European franchise for the U.S. Military and its war products. It's a cash cow that still believes the Soviet Union is in existence. Without a continuously demonizing Russia, there would be no money, no big bucks. We're watching a global version of WWF wrestling, complete with good guys dressed in drag and bad guys draped in propaganda. It’s a con, a racket. Yet delusional Americans like yourself believe that NATO is somehow connected to our failing American government. The media driven Russophobic lunacy continues unabated and uninterrupted. Russia has been pushed to act in a way it hasn't since WWII and it will be victorious. NATO is a hollow army led by men in skirts. The bloodlust you cheer for is ugly, and we haven't seen anything yet. Trust me.

It isn't ironic. There was a concert attack on February 6th in Israel. There have been numerous attacks on concerts before then. Have you ever gone to a large event in most of the Western world since 2001? There is security everywhere.

Also, the warning was for the beginning of the month, so it wasn't within the expected time. I am sure the Russian security forces had their hands full with people protesting against Putin's murdering of the opposition rather than looking into potential terrorist threats.

Absolutely right.

Thats, however, not to say that Putin is perfect: he has other faults, of course, to say the least...

Thank you for the cathartic chuckle.

But you are right that an innocuous event could set off a firestorm.

You’re welcome…

That was my original intent.
Things are getting pretty dicey, and it only takes a spark.
I’m hoping cooler heads prevail.

I called you an American. I was wrong. You're a Canadian warmonger who would rather spend time here on this forum than on one in Canada. You're here because Justin Trudeau has made your country unlivable. You're unable to talk freely and the rights afforded to you are at the whim of the State. I have never seen you criticize the government of Canada or it's people. Yet here you are critical of Americans demanding peace. Who the hell do you think you are?

It's true what they say about the Great North; Justin Trudeau is far more dangerous to Average Canadians than Putin is.

The Union had plenty of ships to defend its borders. Even enough to intercept a lot of supplies headed for the Confederacy.
