'If a house is not inhabited - seize it!': Venezuelan migrant shares TikTok telling illegal immigrants how to 'invade' American homes and legally SQUAT in them

A TikTok influencer is advising illegal immigrants on how to 'invade' American homes and invoke squatter's rights, making it difficult for them to be removed from properties.

Moreno, alleging he has friends who 'have already taken about seven homes', argued the only way for migrants to not live in the streets or be a 'public burden' is to 'seize' and 'invade' abandoned properties.

Putting a For Sale sign in front of an empty home is an invitation for squatters to move in. Listing it on Realtor, Zillow, etc is another invitation for squatters.

There is a way to get rid of a squatter.

Shoot him.

Their houses are like fortresses. With bars and shutters.

That’s been my experience in both Mexico and Costa Rica (and I assume the rest of Latin America). The houses are built to keep outsiders out. Fences and high walls topped with razor wire or (old school) broken glass set in concrete. Bars on all the windows and no way to even reach the front door without going through a locked metal gate.

American homes must look like very easy pickings to criminals from these countries.

Aren’t sanctuary cities asking its cotizens to take migrants into their homes anyways?

Or let your three sweet Doberman Pinschers loose in the house. They will enjoy the freedom.

LOL, my husband has said the same thing - he’d hand the gun to me, a small, disabled senior citizen who is protecting grandchildren and pets (I’m a better shot than he is).

I’d also say the intruder threatened to rape and kill me, intruders in my home deserve NO modicum of respect or humanity, the only thing they deserve is a quick exit, either the front door or lead, if need be.

Is there any fire insurance on the home?

Just call a thorough “pest control agency.” Good opportunity for some to expand their business.

And then when the migrant ‘turns on you’ and your family, you have to go through the length eviction dictate in that state.

Eviction laws may come into play but the statute of limitations for the original crimes still haven’t expired.

I saw a video of a man that gets paid to stay/live in homes that are empty. He's there and the squatters can't take it over.

It's a shame that it has come to that but in certain places across the nation it's something they should do.

Did anyone see where the lady in New York was arrested for trying to get squatters out of her inherited home?

My wife and I have been watching a lot of videos of houses/apartments in Italy. Almost all the homes have bars at least on the first floor. In addition, they have shutters built into the windows that can be closed from the inside. All of these houses are literally made out of stone. So, some of them date back hundreds of years where IF you didn’t have a house like this you were literally dead.

I’m seeing this going up all over in my California neighborhood - high privacy fences around properties with cameras pointed out on each corner, locked gates even to enter the front yard, security systems, of course (which are being disabled by thieves).

I am lucky to live in a neighborhood full of either retirees or people who work from home.

LOL, Depends on what the word “illegal” means.

An “illegal” alien is now “undocumented” and open shoplifting without consequences is called “merchandise shrinkage.”

“This is why when you look at houses in other parts of the world(even a lot of places in Europe) they have BARS on WINDOWS. Their houses are like fortresses. With bars and shutters. Doors that are reinforced steel. So, that when they are not there, no one can break in and steal their stuff or occupy their home.”

I’ve already done this, but due to HOA regs, I can’t do visible bars. I’ve used Lexan-reinforced windows and subtle bars — steel garden trellis, firmly mounted with roses.

Deadbolts are assay alboy (unpickable locks).

Steel doorframes and window frames.

Wired cameras and wired alarms.

Commercial garage doors that cannot be easily jimmied (also alarmed).

Two dobermans.

(I grew up on the border — can you tell?)

Just employ the 3-S’s method. Who is going to miss someone who comes here illegally.
