On Tuesday, March 12, 2024, Dutch absurdist comedian Hans Teeuwen uploaded a video mocking Amsterdam Mayor Femke Halsema. On the table to Teeuwen’s right was an object looking somewhat similar to a pistol. The item may have been included as a jab at the past trouble the Mayor found herself in. Her teenage son was arrested with a deactivated revolver owned by her husband and said to be used as a prop in movie sets.
According to Wikipedia, air guns are legal in the Netherlands and can be freely acquired by anyone over the age of 18. A website for a shop in Boernerbroek, Netherlands, advertises a number of air pistols for sale.
This is a Webley Tempest air pistol that I own. When placed at a similar angle, the resemblance to the object on Hans Teeuwen’s table is remarkable. The original video does not have great resolution. It does not show the knurling which is done on the back of the Webley Tempest

Amsterdam was a toilet full of Moroccan and Russian trash in 1997.
I can only imagine how wonderful it is now.

Thank god the police have removed that dangerous air pistol from the streets. Just think of all the harm that could be done with it! Somebody could get a painful welt or two on the skin from one of the bb’s it shoots!

That’s certainly how it seemed to me. A “Russian” man offered me crack, and then whores in front of my girlfriend…I declined.
None of the women I saw were Dutch, all SEA women.
Moroccans seemed to own most of the “hash” bars.
Amsterdam is the ugliest city, I have ever visited.
Stopped there for a half of a day. Nothing but whores, sex shops and “cafes” serving drugs.
Roads and facilities were big mess, all in various stages of disrepair.
Heck, 30 years ago Amsterdam was a filthy toilet... I can’t imagine it being any better.
I enjoyed myself far more in Eindhoven, the “Ardennes”, and Luxembourg City.
