A 17-year-old Texas high school student died days before his birthday after unknowingly taking a fentanyl-laced pill.
Christopher Flores was a student at La Porte High School. On March 4, he was rushed to the hospital after he went to a friend’s house and unknowingly took a laced pill, KRIV reported.
It was shared by Janeth Balleza on a GoFundMe page that Flores was in a coma ‘fighting with all his might.’
KRIV reported that he spent more than a week on life support before he was pronounced dead on Friday at 2:35 p.m.
“It is with the heaviest of hearts that I share this update with you,” said Balleza. “Though he fought until the end, Chris did not pull through. He is now resting.”
Balleza also shared that he was full of positivity, laughter, strength and always had a bright smile on his face.
The family said a toxicology report came back positive for fentanyl.
La Porte Police said they’ve launched a criminal investigation and his death will potentially be treated as a homicide case.
His 18th birthday would’ve been on Sunday.
Some of Biden’s “newcomers” at work, no doubt.
It’s not as if this is a new phenomenon. Everyone knows about the risk now. If you’re going to eat a pill that isn’t your prescription or a legitimate OTC substance, then FAFO.
Communist China has more and more victims without firing a shot. Plus the disruption of the lives of relatives and coworkers of the victims and coping with the drug addiction and desperate crimes to find money.

Fentanyl today is killing more Americans than – between the age of 18 and 49 – than any other public health issues. We’ve seen death rates of about 300 Americans daily.
China....after several years of significantly intensified tensions between the two countries it was important to put a ceiling underneath the freefall of the relationship.
For several years, we have had no meaningful cooperation with China, and China would say that the problem of fentanyl use in the United States is that of U.S. doing. Now, China has recognized its responsibility. It has taken some actions.
I doubt they have taken any actions. They see it as justified, as revenge for the decades the U.S. was selling illegal opioids into China.
Fentanyl is China’s weapon of mass destruction against our future solders who would fight them.
Right. With all the power over Joe and the various woke government/corporation partners no one would upset Xi.
Zhao Bai-Denn is their pal.
Thanks Joe… you and the rest of the democrats need to stay on course to murdering 100,000 Americans yearly. Good job!
Wait until terrorist cells start dumping 55 gallon drums of the stuff into our reservoirs.
Comments BUMP! Condolences to family and friends of Chris Flores.
Fentanyl kills more Americans than murders. guns, car accidents, ladders and all other accidental deaths combined!
Thanks, Joe!
For some reason, government and media do not seem to care too much about fentanyl deaths.
They seems to be worried about stuff with infinitesimally small death rates, like arsenic in water or particles in air.
They worry about plane safety and security.
They are trying to ban guns.
Yet, in case of fentanyl, they ignore even the simplest ways to address this menace.
Sad. When you take drugs you put yourself at risk.
It will never end until drug dealers caught with fentanyl are shot the same day.
So back to it will never end
Agreed. As my dad used to observe, “We’re not hanging enough people.”
we are at war but many are still asleep
Wouldn’t you just love to have the name of the azho invader who carried that ASSAULT PILL across the former border from Mehico to kill an American and make room for himself to shack up and live off the gringo taxpayers in America?
