Kids having problems with ‘regular’ measles were so rare, that measles were considered an ‘ordinary’ childhood disease. And chicken pox, which can be deadly in adults was so common and contagious with kids that there were few adults who had never gotten it.
The only vaccine I have had in my life of 70 years was smallpox!! Had ALL of these childhood diseases and got through them just fine!! I can’t remember but I may have had the polio orally!! I refuse to even have a flu shot my immune system will do the job God gave it, may take a little longer as I get older but so be it!! Natural immunity is ALWAYS better!!
I fail to see the problem. I had pretty much all the varieties of measles growing up, as did my 2 brothers. While it was a miserable existence for a couple of days, the immunities I developed were worth it.
Next doc appointment, you should check out your levels. I thought I was all set, having run the gamut in the early 60’s…but when they were tested in 2015…they antibody levels were very low. I had to get a shot.

76000 dollars in care is a little more than 1000 dollars in care each on average. Not an unusual amount to spend on Healthcare when ill. Easily met when mandatory blood work x-rays and other tests are needed to defend against lawsuits.
