....SHASTA COUNTY, Calif. — Questions continue to surround Shasta County’s Election Commission.
On Tuesday evening, commissioner Dawn Duckett shared on Facebook that she was resigning from her position, calling it, "not a valuable use of my time," and, "counterproductive to the needs of the community." Earlier that same day, during a Shasta County supervisor meeting, District 2 Supervisor Tim Garman—who appointed Duckett to the commission—made a motion to disband the commission entirely. The motion was voted down by the board's majority, 3-2.. ...
....Following this discussion and Monday’s eventful election commission meeting, the legitimacy and purpose for the commission has become a topic of local debate. Supervisor Garman has seen enough of it all.
"There's nothing they have done that's been positive in our form of government. It's just a sham," Garman told KRCR on Wednesday. "They're just, they're trying to create a problem that doesn't exist. Like you saw yesterday, they brought a presentation to us with no presentation. When Ronnean [Lund] was asked [about it]...she was dumbfounded. She said, 'nobody asked me to present.' So, if nobody asked her to present and she's the chairwoman, something's amiss....
.. .Garman, whose term ends this December, says he will not appoint a replacement for commissioner Duckett, at least for now. "One of my problems is, why do I want to appoint somebody that's going to go onto a commission where they're going to be asked to take part in breaking the law? I just can't do that to anybody, it's not fair to that person."

Okay, but surely you can offer more than this. What is the commission doing, and who are the good players & bad players, for example.
The good guys are the ones getting death threats that the shasta DA wont investigate.
The good guys are the ones trying to get rid of the machines.

That was more involved than answering a simple yes or no toa simple question that you know the answer.
The CALIF state law is wrong, IMO.
ANY COUNTY THAT WISHES TO SHOULD BE ABLE TO COUNT BALLOTS BY HAND.
Shasta County only has a little over 115,000 voters.

Well, no actually you didn't answer my question at all. I asked a yes or no question that was simple enough to answer, but instead you just provided me with several links.
I was being lazy & wanted to know who was who that were being mentioned , and which side they stood on. My eyes get tired & I just want to know which side is winning. The side that wanted to get rid of the machines, or the side that wants to keep the machines.
I have many medical issues. But I don't worry about them. I just wanted a simple question answered. So, forget it. I already have.
