Around 800 delegates from the bipartisan group unanimously approved the plan for a 2024 'unity ticket' to take on Biden and Donald Trump in November at a virtual gathering on Friday.
Puck reported that No Labels leadership has decided a Republican must be on the top of the ticket to prevent Trump from being reelected instead.
The lack of an obvious candidate hasn't derailed the operation
On Tuesday, Axios reported that ahead of Friday's virtual convention a super PAC related to the effort was asking donors for dollars.
No Labels itself is a 501(c)(4) and can't run a traditional presidential campaign.
The group does not disclose its donors. The super PAC can act as the funding mechanism.
The PAC aims to bring in $300 million toward a general election effort.

The goal is to peel off GOPE. But in the selection if you can’t feel good from evil, or beyond redemption. Any Republican who supports this kills their future.
Liz Cheney would be hilarious.
95% of her votes would be from Democrats.
Well they truly are desperate to do anything to get votes away from Trump....but it will also take votes from Biden
Haley also said that she would NEVER run for President if Trump ran so yeah, Haley is a known liar
I’ve heard a rumor — so far, just a rumor — that they’re intereted in running a Haley/Phillips ticket. Note that the two withrew from their parties’ nomination races within a day of each other and neither endorsed their party’s apparent nominee.
So we’ll be able to vote against Nikki and Joe at the same time.
She can’t be. She won’t be on most state ballots under the aptly named “sore loser” rules.
That would be PERFECT they would take votes from Biden and Trump would win in a landslide
No labels is a bad implementation. What do they stand for? We need Congress to just step up and regulate elections and electioneering for real. Seriously cut off the money. Lincoln and Douglass just took trains around and debated. In this day and age candidates and voters have great access to each other via web access and apps and social media. So I propose something like this:
- a hard cap on how much money can be spent by a campaign and a party
- unlimited speeches, videos, blog posts, white papers
- hard cap on paid staff but unlimited volunteers
- no advertising by candidates except to direct voters to read or watch campaign videos
- no party affiliation listed on ballots
- PAC advertising can advocate ideas and policies but not use the name of any candidate
Running campaigns with tactics used in Tide and Doritos commercials serves to dumb down the voters and motivate them with fears. We need true and vigorous debate and voter engagement with ideas and policies.
I believe it tehnially still exists, but I don’t think it has ballot status anywhere anymore.
“Haley has already said she won’t do it.”
Take that to the bank!
Nimarata
No labels = Democrats
Adam Kinzinger
No Labels probably means No Platform. At least not public.
“Haley has already said she won’t do it”
Surely your not that niave 🤔
The leftists are freaking out about “No Labels”:

Excerpts:
“dangerous confusion”
“Polls indicate that a No Labels ballot line may well draw more votes away from Biden than Trump.”
” Others have suggested that No Labels is a shadowy Republican dark-money group”
“No Labels is full of idealists who, whether they realize it or not, are playing Russian roulette with American democracy,”
“Perhaps oddly for an organization dedicated to political choice, No Labels also insists on keeping secret the selection process for the “unity ticket” candidates.”
“the group is cagey about its internal operations, and won’t even share the names of its donors”
There are some hilarious quotes in the article with Democrats making threats against them.
These folks are way over their heads.
....... I'm Gonna Say .... Joe Manchin and Mitt Romney.
...... After all .... They were sitting together last night, in the Middle of the Chamber, at the SOTU Address ..... Probably for this specific reason .....
.
Two can play that game.
