Trump just reacted to the SCOTUS ruling and gave his “Tear down this wall” statement aimed at Biden - Biden, stop these coordinated lawsuits and Biden, close the border!
Very effective
Anybody know what is the highest earthly authority in America, higher authority (on earth and America) than the Supreme Court?
(hint: US Const., Art. VI, Cl. 2).
I’m glad for this ruling but its not a huge victory. Its stemming a small portion of the lawfare against Trump. It was an obvious, easy victory. The Dems still are on the offensive and refining tools that they will use against any Republican who runs in the future.
I don’t think they could have ruled differently.
That is very reassuring news and the fact that it was unanimous caps any future bs from rogue democrat politicians and judges...indicates they may not believe the President was involved in any insurrection...hopefully, they understand that there was not an insurrection.
Only Texas
Even the stupid “I don’t know nuthin’ about what no woman is” or the “wise latina” imbecile? What planet did I wake up on? Let the democrats REEEEEEEE that Sotomayor (idiot) and Ketanji (bigger idiot) are a “threat to democracy.”

Here's their summary table:
I count fourteen gray colored states where there was no lawfare to remove Trump from the ballot. Surprisingly, Hawaii is gray! There are another ten states where the plaintiff dismissed his own case.

LOL...that “Lawfare” site claims to be updated on Feb 28, 2024. How could they miss that Hawaii action?
That is a very depressing thought. True, but depressing...
UNANIMOUS! Good!
There were 25 states that sent aid to Texas’s effort to seal it’s border. That makes 26 who I believe will largely pull together. Of course this was done by the Governors.
Governor Abbott is thoughtful, he was a Judge a long time. Then AG and Governor. He gets a lot of criticism, but look at where Texas is today compared to most of the rest of the Nation.
I don’t think they will.

Like that it is unanimous. As it should be.
Yep, the SCOTUS courtroom is on the 1st floor, and directly above it, converted from a storage room, is a basketball court, the actual highest court in the land.
Michigan, Maine, and Illinois had stayed their decision pending SCOTUS’s ruling in Colorado. It would seem, then, that they would need to issue new rulings, if only to close the loop on those cases. Has there been any word from any of them?

WASHINGTON, D.C. — In a stunning unanimous decision that dealt a shocking blow to democracy, the United States Supreme Court affirmed that people can vote for the candidate they want. The landmark ruling, issued just as the 2024 Presidential Election prepared to ramp up, presents a grave new threat to American freedom, as all nine justices declared that voters can, in defiance of what the ruling authorities may want, select their preferred candidate. "We've never seen democracy in such danger," said black and gay White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre..
