That is a rather incomplete and misleading summary of what the 14th Amendment states.
My guess either 9-0 or there will be one commie who rules against Trump. Trump’s name is still on the ballot in Colorado, so if the court was going to rule against Trump they would have done so weeks ago so new ballots could be issued..it was obvious by the way the justices were questioning the lawyers which way they will rule. they are coming out tomorrow with the ruling since Tuesday is Super Tuesday

I was just about to post that I had heard rumors that the decision on the ballot issue would be released tomorrow. I’m hearing it from several sources but wasn’t sure where those sources are getting that information. I don’t see where SCOTUS had updated their calendar but I assume Gerstein has information that they have added an opinion day for tomorrow morning. To add an opinion session on such short notice for a Monday does indicate that an important and quickly made (probably 9-0) decision is going to be released.
Prepare for the usual gnashing of teeth and screams that the Supreme Court is illegitimate and needs to be increased to 15 justices.
Jurists across the spectrum have thrown out the Law to illegally attack Trump. Will SCOTUS stand up for the Law? Or will they destroy the credibility of the entire Judicial system?

All I can say is the court better vote right on this or credibility for ANY court goes out the window forever.

It’s not enough to rejct the ruling. The state court must be sanctioned, and Trump’s legal fees awarded for a frivolous ruling that plainly ignored the clear text of the 14th Amendment.
I hope it will a victory. But Roberts will side with the libs nad it's possible Barrett might too.
If not then TX and FL should remove Biden from their ballots. Then let the leftist aholes whine.

I gave up on predicting that the USSC would do what is constitutional or right. Trump’s last two picks have no love for the constitution. We can hope that they do the right thing, but there are no guarantees. But if they screw this one up then will be unleashing a crap storm in this country. And I would hope that the more conservative states would start kicking a lot of democrats off of the ballot.

I really don’t see how any Supreme Court could get around the “innocent until proven guilty” tenet of our legal system. That the leftist court in Denver did so shows the true level to which this country has sunk from its founding. Frankly, it’s the kind of decision, if wrong, that could actually start a civil war, IMO.

I don’t see a problem with any direction of the ruling. If the Colorado ruling is upheld, then the dam can burst. There are at least 25 states that can take Biden off the ballot for promoting invasion with millions of illegals invited into the country.
