The Supreme Court is set to issue a ruling on Trump’s ballot eligibility after he challenged a decision by the Colorado Supreme Court to bar him from the 2024 primary ballot.
In December the Colorado Supreme Court disqualified Trump from the 2024 ballot.
All 7 Colorado Supreme Court justices were appointed by Democrats – 3 of the justices dissented to the ruling.
The legal theories are based on Section 3 of the US Constitution’s 14th Amendment which states public officials who have “engaged in insurrection or rebellion against” the US may be disqualified from public office.
Trump has not been charged with engaging in insurrection or rebellion against the United States.
Oral arguments before the Supreme Court on Trump’s ballot eligibility wrapped in early February.
The Supreme Court expressed skepticism as they heard arguments from Colorado lawyer Jason Murray. Even the liberal justices expressed concern.
“Why should a single state have the ability to make this determination not only for their own citizens but for the rest of the nation?” Justice Kagan asked.

I was kind of hoping we would see some protests taking to the streets today in anticipation of tomorrow's release. That would mean they would know the outcome and it wouldn't be good for the leftists.
If by some odd happenstance Trump doesn’t prevail, then the red states need to remove biden.

If they get this wrong, then it had absolutely BETTER start a civil war, or this country is truly lost forever. I am confident they will get this one right because it is just blindingly obvious that the 14th Amendment doesn’t apply to the President, doesn’t give states the authority to disqualify candidates at will, and no public official ANYWHERE has the right to just declare someone guilty of a crime that they not only were never convicted of, but were never even charged with.
It should tell us all we need to know about the depth of depravity of leftists/“progressives” that not only did Colorado jump the track and start ruling by fiat, but various officials in other states eagerly joined in on this orgy of lawlessness. If the Left doesn’t get its way, it is only too happy to abandon all pretense of a justice system and just go full despot. I dare say that King George on his worst day didn’t even begin to approach the level of pure narcissistic evil inherent in these Leftist demons.

If they are going to make a ruling without a hearing, rather than say a stay, it had better be 9-0.

I do. They are not going to want to do this piecemeal state by state so will want to settle the issue once and for all.
With the people involved in January 6th, nobody was going to change the Electoral College vote. The incoming administration was set. There was no overthrow of the government.
However, all of these people trying to take the national poll leader for President off of the ballot is effectively overthrowing the likely incoming administration.
I admit that nothing is certain until the votes are cast, are counted, and are certified. Still, it's a preemptive insurrection when the national popular choice is thrown off of ballots for no legal reason.
So, who are the real insurrectionists?

That’s why it will be 9-0. What would a Trump hating Lefty Justice gain by being the lone dissenter?
The opinion will not be written as a pro-Trump ruling, it will be written as a pro Democracy ruling. Something to the effect of: “Don’t tell We The People who we can and cannot vote for.”
Dissenting against that would be a very bad look - and since Trump would remain on the Colorado ballot, the dissenter would be outed as a partisan hack for nothing.
Reckon what time the ruling will be announced?
