Baker — who for years has been searching for the truth about Jan. 6, 2021, and believes the U.S. government has been targeting him for it — on Friday was charged with four misdemeanors related to his Jan. 6 coverage at the U.S. Capitol after turning himself in to the FBI in Dallas.
But first he was handcuffed and perp-walked:
The charges are:
Knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted building or grounds without lawful authority Disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building or grounds Disorderly conduct in a capitol building Parading, demonstrating, or picketing in a capitol building
BlazeTV contributor Jill Savage noted Friday that she exited the courtroom with Baker, who "was able to wear his dress clothes but had shackles on his wrists and ankles. He is expected to be released today. His next hearing is set in DC for March 14th."
Baker learned of the charges for the first time Friday and earlier this week told Blaze News that the powers that be wouldn't tell his attorney about the charges because they believed Baker would post them on social media.
Baker's Dallas attorney, James Lee Bright, added to Blaze News that withholding the nature of the charges against his client was a "really unusual" move.
Bright told Blaze News that he's "disturbed" about what's happening with his client, especially given that Baker has been "in full compliance" all this time. Bright also said the federal government "three-plus years later going after people who were legitimate functioning journalists that day" appears designed to have an "absolute chilling effect."
Baker added that when he asked his other attorney, William Shipley, why the federal government is treating him like this, Shipley replied, "You know why. You've been poking them in the eye for three years." 'This is truly outrageous'
Baker's arrest and charges have been getting a ton of attention — and notable individuals have been weighing in: (videos at link)
Beck had Alan Dershowitz on his program yesterday. On air, Beck asked him if off air, he could speak to him about representing Baker. Dershowitz stated (and I’m paraphrasing) that “I can’t be hired for First Amendment cases...I do them Pro Bono”. Sounds like there’s a chances that Baker will have some solid representation.
“Now, if you want me to have a take on the American Congress and Senate, I think I should not go there, because let's say that the American politics nowadays is not at its best.
But one thing I can say, I had the privilege to be prime minister for Albania in NATO when the former president was there. And despite the rhetoric, despite the colorful way to confront adversaries, I don't see that NATO was weakened. On the contrary, what was decided before continued to be the case. Every country continued to put more money and to put more effort in increasing the NATO budget. So now, elections are elections, Trump is Trump. American politics is American politics.”
the cr$% in the country doesn’t come to an end until there is prosecution of FEDs for this kind of stuff
Thanks for taking the time to post that material.
It is a good read.
We know Trump is negotiating and will not be pulling out of NATO.
The leftists are so incredibly dumb at times that it amazes me that they can successfully dress themselves.
J6 summary updated:
The FedMob set it up, agitated the crowd, turned down the President’s offer to authorize the Nat. Guard, hired punks like Ray Epps to instigate going into the Capitol, planted bombs at the RNC and DNC headquarters, misdirected the Capitol Police, opened electronic locks on Capitol doors, murdered Ashli Babbit outside the senate chambers and covered it up, conducted bogus partisan hearings on J6 to justify the falsehoods, hid video footage showing a generally peaceful crowd and hiding the instigators, maliciously prosecuted J6ers, and more.
there were a few other groups too that stormed capitol buildings and interrupted business there- who were never seriously charged too- because of course they were left wing groups- only conservatives get 22 years in prison for protesting-
Thanks, yeah the trip was awesome though- I did have a blast on it- however, i took a bunch of really cool photos of parks, mountains, rivers and such, but had a fire that burned the house i was staying in after i got home again and lost all the photos- so all i have now are fuzzy memories- wish i at least had the photos- but still glad i went and saw what i did ad experienced it-
There you go. Ignore my post on the other thread about adding the post-J6 activities of the FedMob.
Nicely done, guys!

I added a coiuple of sentence topics, but I had no idea you wrote the original. The Sentences were then incorporated into the paragraph.
