Newsom: GOP Wants National Abortion Ban, It’s a ‘War on Women’

Governor Gavin Newsom (D-CA) said Sunday on NBC’s “Meet The Press” that the Republican Party wanted a national abortion ban as part of their “war on women.”

Newsom said, “They are not only restricting the rights of self-determination to bear a child for a young woman, and they’re determining their fate as it relates their future in life by saying they can’t even travel and they are modeled after a version that passed in Idaho is now being proposed in Tennessee and Oklahoma and Mississippi. The AG himself of Alabama wants to criminalize travel not just for children but for adults seeking reproductive care. That’s how serious this moment is, and we need to be more aggressive.”

sometimes I think it might be best to let the left abort as much as they want. Maybe we can finally extinguish whichever gene makes a human being fine with killing a baby.

Newsome didn't fully read the memo, they are not suppose to used the A word. They are suppose to allude to that as the Republican goal, but stop short of saying the A word.

the Supreme Court has ruled that the abortion issue is an issue for each STATE to decide-as in states’ rights. It is not in the constitution, so it is up to each state to decide. Many of us have prayed, wished and shouted for this ruling since the disaster of Roe v Wade made abortion/killing of the unborn, anytime, anywhere, a free-for-all in every state. Many states are now restricting/prohibiting that so the unborn can be born, at last.

So for God’s sake, don’t make it a fed issue again-leave. it. alone. If a woman wants an abortion, and the state she lives in restricts/prohibits it, then let her cross a state line and go to one where killing the unborn kid is allowed, and STFU about wanting everybody to think like she does. I’m about 50 years tired of these abortion-happy women, and I know I’m not alone...
