Chapel of Love--The Hitmakers (1958)
The Hitmakers weren't able to make this a chart hit, although it should have been, However, it became a sought-after hit among record collectors.

Prisoners Of Love (From the Producers)
Prisoners of love
Blue skies above
Can’t keep our hearts in jail! (Can’t keep our hearts in jail!)
Prisoners of love
Our turtle doves
Soon coming ‘round with bail
Tote that bale!
You can lock us up and lose the key
But hearts in love are always free!
Prisoners of love
Blue skies above
‘Cause we’re still prisoners
We’re still prisoners
We’re still prisoners of love!

“’If I Loved You’ from Carousel...”
That is one of my favorite songs to sing. The pitch is perfect for me. I could be on Broadway, LOL!
Also, I’m a Shirley Jones FREAK. I love everything about her and her movies. :)

There was an earlier of that tune “I Love How You Love Me”-it was done by some girl group or another-came out when I was maybe 11-12-so about 1961-all of us silly little pre-teen girls sang it at slumber parties-being country girls, we did know what it was really about, but not how you got there...
