Herridge probably has among the deepest sources of any investigative reporter in the defense and intelligence areas. I’ll bet CBS has already turned everything over to the FBI. Shame on Herridge if she does not encrypt and protect everything she has. She had to know her files could be targeted by competitors, US and foreign governments, and hackers like wikileaks.
If her sources are compromised, her career is pretty much over, and investigative journalism will be significantly weakened. Not that there is much as it is...
