So how does it get passed in the senate and get BiteMe to sign it? Are they planning to cut off all current funding to the executive to make the demo-commies squeal and play ball? I seriously doubt it.

Dems already have had this one figured out for decades. They’ll do it anyway, and then one or more of the following will happen.

1. They will be found guilty and then pay the judgement from the public fisc - then they will just keep doing it because hey, it’s not their own money. They’ve done this before, usually at the state or city level.

2. Some of their own allied states will sue and win, and then use the wealth transferred from the Feds to do whatever they want. They did this already with the Sierra Club suing the EPA when both were controlled by Dems and similar scams - repeatedly. They will actually make sure they continue the practice they’re being sued for as it’s a great way to transfer money.

3. Any valid claims will be dragged out through the courts for decades and lawfare will be conducted against the suing parties. Again, they have no personal incentive to stop the invasion and plenty of incentive to NOT do so.

This is a useless bill that will end up enriching the Dems. A better idea would be to have a bill that would allow states to sue the Feds and have the named parties removed from office for dereliction of Constitutional duty to defend them against invasion.

End welfare. That would send 30% of them home. It happened a hundred years ago.

Why?

After you’ve sued them, THEN what? Make the feds pay you some money??

(I’m at a loss whether to post the image of the heads being throw back in laughter or the That’s the Ticket guy.)

New Bill Would Give States the Legislative ability (Right) to Sue Federal. >>>> States don’t have or get rights. Rights are peoples and given by God. States only have delegated powers allowed to them by the people.

Getting rid of welfare will not stop this kind of scam.

What’s the problem?

Two snipers killed Americans in three states. How much chaos could a few terrorists cause?

Very Funny. You do realize that such a bill would have to pass both the Senate and Biden. Neither of which would allow it.

It’s not a monetary suit. It would be more like “keep your filthy hands out of my state and allow us to do our job.”

OK... I gotta speak up yet again...
Why do these so called Republicans keep on doing crap that is clearly unconditional?
The feds control the borders, that is one of the few powers granted to it in that pesky constitution thingy.
Why are they not developing work around, like the democommies do for things that they don’t like?
Example, Texas puts up a wall ON FEDERAL LAND!!!
Of course the courts are going to order it removed.
Why not buy land BEHIND federal land and put your wall up there?
There are options... There are solutions.
Why not exercise them?
Answer, can’t buy votes with a solution, and the bush league chamber of commerce worshipping republiCAN’Ts WANT the illegals here.

“[The] bill would give state attorneys general standing to sue the Secretary of Homeland Security when the federal government refuses to enforce federal immigration law.”

“”[The] bill would give state attorneys general standing to sue the Secretary of Homeland Security “personally” when the federal government refuses to enforce federal immigration law.”

I’m tired of everyone suing the government and it is taxpayer dollars that they get. Hold the Secretaries and all elected officials or Executive Branch appointees personally accountable. Base it on the laws created by the Constitution.
