Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has downgraded a staggering 60 percent of felony cases to lesser charges in the last year, data from his office shows.
The progressive DA reduced 938 of the most serious charged in 2023, 834 of which were brought down to misdemeanors.
Under Bragg, the percentage of felonies downgraded has increased to 60 - up from 53% percent under his predecessor. Bragg's team defended the figures stating the office's performance is on a par with other New York boroughs and higher when it comes to felony convictions.

Because he doesn’t want to put black people in jail. Thats it. Thats the reason.
Despite Bragg’s being forced by public outrage to flip back to being “somewhat” lawful after the cop beating, one savage Venezuelan (who was ordered to leave the country last year) had his bail set at $1. However – it is not expected to be paid (they know this how?). The move allows him to avoid deportation while in custody.
Bragg caved on catch and release? Imagine that.....the “son of Harlem” can read the tea leaves.
Knows he better shape-up........or else......a fast food job awaits him.
Bragg has personal security. He won’t be worried.
Since so many of these criminals are on living off the taxpayers and the right to an attorney has become corrupted into the "right" to have taxpayers pay for an attorney, the DA has no choice but to plea them down or let them go.

Of these 900+ criminals whose charges got lowered to a misdemeanor or deleted entirely, what percent were black-brown-Muslum-homosexual?
Of those left with multiple felony charges, what percent were white or straight?
What is the breakdown of the downgrades vs. the race of the perp, vs. the political affiliation of the perp, vs. the type of crime, and vs. the criminal record of the perp?
