Young women who increasingly identify as liberal are driving a stark political gender gap with their male counterparts.
Why it matters: Men affected by many of the same societal forces — early exposure to smartphones and social media and a toxic political culture — aren't budging.
By the numbers: Women aged 18 to 29 are now 15 percentage points more likely to identify as liberal than men in the same group, according to Gallup data. That gap is five times larger than it was in 2000.
More young women also now identify as liberal (40%) than moderate (37%). Young men are slightly more likely to identify as conservative (29%) than liberal (25%), with moderate (44%) as the largest share — numbers which have remained remarkably steady over the last 25 years. Zoom in: The gender gap first passed 10 points in 2017, when former President Trump took office.
The #MeToo movement took off the same year, potentially pushing a younger generation of women to the left as they entered adulthood. Abortion rights also became a more pressing issue after Roe v. Wade was overturned in 2022.

It appears to me that young women are getting dumber all the time.
More proof that the 19th Amendment was the death knell of our Nation.
18-30 year old women are a big problem. Brainwashed in College, selfish single issue voters who vote for whichever rat is on the ballot to protect their “right to kill”.
Women, and especially young women, are easily fooled by emotional appeals. They have long fallen for the whole feminist pablum of being a “strong and independent woman” not needing anyone, especially a male. Also, women have absolutely given themselves over to sexual slavery and abortion.
You cannot go anywhere near social media without seeing every girl naked and sexually gyrating. It seems “OnlyFans” is now a way of life for so many, which is a form of prostitution.
Young women want unrestricted abortions. Why? Most will never need it, and contraceptives are not expensive.
Most young women are easy to brainwash.
They want to “belong” to the “in crowd”.
It makes them easy pickings for the sociopaths.
They have been socially driven that way for generations. No surprise.
9/10 American women are now irreversibly flawed, and basically unworthy for marriage. They prefer to be married to either a nonexistent male archetype or, better yet, the government.

After that marriage is really boring for them.

The toxic feminazis like to do a lot of woman-splaining too. As toxic as they are now, imagine them in their 40s and 50s, yikes!
Perhaps off topic, but I’ve heard the vast majority of divorces are initiated by the woman. Year 7 through 9 are a point in marriage, where many women seeking divorce decide they want out.
Our culture has shifted significantly regarding desires of people for marriage and family. And that applies to both men and women looking at that subject differently than previous generations did.
Many women are idiots. Their idea of freedom is actually slavery. They gang up on anyone in their peer group that thinks for themselves. They are their own handmaidens.
