Kansas City Chiefs win Super Bowl for second year in a row

The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers in a rare overtime Super Bowl finish, capping off a thriller in Las Vegas that saw several lead changes in the second half.

The Chiefs will bring home the Lombardi Trophy for the second year in a row and the third time in five years as Patrick Mahomes led his team to a comeback victory after the Niners dominated the first half.

This is the second time the Chiefs have sent the Niners packing in five Super Bowls, in what at times felt like a repeat of the 2020 game.

The win cements the Chiefs as the new NFL dynasty and the team to beat under head coach Andy Reid, Mahomes, and the fan favorite Travis Kelce.

**That’s all it ever was. Making it out to be something more is foolish, to say the least.**

It sure pays good to be an entertainer. But when the lockdowns came, the entertainers were shown to be totally unessential vanity. What impresses me? People that are really good at real jobs.

There will be more. Too big a thing and too big a moneymaker to give it up.

With the injuries pretty much limited to the 49ers, it looked like the players were worn down and/or playing with existing injuries.

I would expect injuries for both teams if turf was an issue.

The KC Chiefs were losing until Taylor Swift stood up and clicked her ruby red slipper heels together three times.

Harrison Butker was the story of the game and should have received MVP, not just for hi srecord setting kick but that he scored what over half of their points..

But the missed PAT was huge.

I have to laugh at the fact that so many NFL fanatic freepers are absolutely sure that the election was rigged (correctly), but are certain the NFL is not rigged.

“ It was the Greatest Game Ever played.”

Till next year’s SuperBowl.

That said, it was an exciting close game. I enjoyed it.

**The Super Bowl may have jumped the shark this time**

I was no einstein at age 19, when that tv show came out in 74 (iirc), but I sure could see Happy Days was good for making people less smart. Pathetic show. I made my younger brothers mad when I would walk in the living room and pick it apart. They would tell me to go back outside and work on my car. And I would. Far more entertaining.

Ugh, what can I say about this:

-just when I thought a halftime show couldn’t get any blacker, they prove me wrong again. What a contrast to the almost monolithic white audience in the stands.

-for all the talk of white privilege, the only privilege I saw on display were all the spoiled pop stars in the private booths, including Taylor Swift and her entourage, and the modern Rasputin, Jack Dorsey, who the TV heads didn’t explicitly call out IIRC.

-Kelce has to be the biggest million-dollar meathead on the face of the earth. Anyone else who acted like he did postgame in virtually any other scenario would be told to pipe down, lay off the booze or be shown the door. But since he’s one of the chosen ones, it’s all good.

-Now it’s time for Swift and Kelce to announce “don’t forget to vote for the Democrats this November. After all, you want to be on the winning team, right?”

Butker attends TLM and, if memory serves, serves.

Perhaps Kelce bumping the coach and disrespecting him caused Kelce less chances at the ball.

Couldn’t stand having to look at democrat Swift and democrat Kelce frequently during the game.

That’s right, he’s the Chiefs kicker, I just watched highlights, so I got them mixed up.
