Special Counsel calls Biden 'sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory,' brings no charges

Special Counsel Robert Hur described President Biden as a "sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory," and said he would bring no criminal charges against the president after a months-long investigation into his improper retention of classified documents related to national security.

Hur's report was made public Thursday afternoon.

Hur has been investigating Biden’s improper retention of classified records since last year. Those records included classified documents about military and foreign policy in Afghanistan, among other records related to national security and foreign policy which Hur said implicated "sensitive intelligence sources and methods."

Correct. However, per interview in the report, he’s too mentally far gone to even know what he had. That means, he’s been like this for many years, likely, even as VP.

In declining to prosecute Biden, Hur’s office also cited what it said was Biden’s “limited memory” both during his 2017 recorded conversations with the ghostwriter and in an interview with investigators last year.

“Given Mr. Biden’s limited precision and recall during his interviews with his ghostwriter and with our office, jurors may hesitate to place too much evidentiary weight on a single eight-word utterance to his ghostwriter about finding classified documents in Virginia, in the absence of other, more direct evidence.”

Then who ordered the documents to his garage?

So I wonder if Special Council Hur’s statement, “The investigation uncovered evidence that now-President Biden “willfully retained and disclosed classified information” after his vice presidency, “when he was a private citizen” just shot Jack Smith’s case against Trump right square in the balls?

Hur's report quoted Biden's criticism of Trump's document case.

Biden said the following in response to a question about the marked classified documents allegedly found in Mr. Trump's private home:

Reporter: When you saw the photograph of the top secret documents laid out on the floor at Mar-a-Lago, what did you think to yourself? Looking at that image.

Mr. Biden: How that could possibly happen. How one-anyone could be that irresponsible. And I thought, what data was in there that may compromise sources and methods? By that I mean names of people who helped or th-- et cetera. And it just-- totally irresponsible.

Biden's emphatic and unqualified conclusion that keeping marked classified documents unsecured in one's home is "totally irresponsible" because it "may compromise sources and methods" applies equally to his own decision to keep his notebooks at home in unlocked and unauthonzed containers. notebooks, like the marked documents, contained classified information, the unauthorized disclosure which could compromise intelligence sources and methods and damage national security.

The Whitehouse's rebuttal of Hur's report is pretty entertaining. It starts on page 384.

The answer is, in the VERY unlikely event that Biden is on the ballot, this is a campaign slogan.

Attacking a poor, sick old man (which is what Biden is), is bad optics, and when he appears to be driven from the race by Rethuglicans (which has been the plan all along), the Newsom/Whitmer ticket will harvest ten million sympathy votes.

So, Biden is NOT HELD TO THE LAW because he is senile, yet he occupies the Oval Office as President of the United States and Commander-In-Chief of our military.

Okay, now I understand. /s

Obama and his WEF/U.N./China/Iran BOSSES don't want to let go of their gig of having THEIR PUPPET in our White House.

Good question. He could have been in a good enough state to order it or even do it when he was no longer VP on 2017 forgot due to his mental state. Dementia can take it’s toll very rapidly.

Try that with the IRS or ATF.

Will a 25th Amendment action provoke a Constitutional Crisis (based on the ineligibility of Kamala Harris to assume the Presidency)?

I dunno - if someone would even raise a challenge and the Supreme Court would need to rule on it at some point. By the Constitution, if neither the Pres nor VP can serve, it would fall to the Speaker of the House.

Which would be just fine by me.

He is either responsible, AND/OR his handlers are through conspiracy and fraud and more while acting in his stead. These are high crimes.

So I am hard-pressed not to prefer this version, although it might wake-up the Dems too much compared to your original.

'How in the hell dare he'

President Joe Biden speaks about the Special Counsel report in the Diplomatic Reception Room of the White House in Washington, DC, on February 8, 2024.

Biden told reporters, "I got sandbagged!"

Thomas Sowell 40 years ago at a congressional hearing was questioned by Bidon. Sowell’s reaction afterwards?

“He’s an idiot.”
