Because we are told that it “can,” not that it “does.”
Cured me twice.
“Tens of thousands of Americans are hospitalized with COVID-19 every week. Thousands die from it every month”
They say this yet I do not see this happening at all. And I’m not a hermit. I call BS.
I don’t believe this for a second. They may die with it but they don’t die from it.
at $1300 for a 5 day dose, it’s kind of pricey. Plus, hasn’t Pfizer gotten rich enough off Covid already?
article is a reprint from AP ... no wonder it sounds like scare-mongering propaganda ...
At this point who would trust anything from the pharma industry or the corporatized hospitals. I believe there may be plenty of people for whom the shot and plaxovid are appropriate but after the years of opacity, lies, and the often deadly mis-treatment of patients who would do anything pharma, hospital doctors, or government suggests?
Breitbart posting AP drivel now?
This is that new Pfizermectin where Pfizer made an expensive version of Ivermectin. Better off using regular Ivermectin.
Breitbart’s posting this disinfo?
An anecdotal report from a user on X revealed the Paxlovid made her feel so much better that she resumed jogging 5 miles. When the course of tablets was complete and the onboard dose exhausted, her symptoms were far worse than before taking the Paxlovid. Her doctor monitored her closely before, during and after the doses. Some lab work before and after looked worse. It was decided to avoid future use of Paxlovid for her specific case.
Because it costs $1500 and the dose and duration of treatment are wrong.
I am still getting over a severe bout with COVID and was prescribed Paxlovid. The stuff is nasty and leaves a horrid taste on your mouth, but I took it...Three pills twice daily for five days. Did it help? I’m still alive. My lovely with the RN did not take it and she and I had silimiar outcomes and length of illness.
Beware Pfizer’s New Antiviral COVID Treatment Drug Paxlovid 12/30/2021 9:21:43 AM PST · by SeekAndFind · 10 repliesNOQ Report ^ | 12/30/2021 | Dr. Joel S. Hirschhorn
The pro-drug industry mainstream media are insanely positive over the newly FDA-approved Pfizer antiviral COVID treatment pills. The drug, Paxlovid, received an emergency use authorization by FDA for use in patients 12 years old and up who have tested positive for COVID-19 and are at high risk. Now is the time to speak truth about Paxlovid. First, everyone should appreciate that there was very little testing of the short- and long-term safety of this product, exactly what happened with COVID vaccines. Really good testing of a new drug should take many months or even years.Does the public really want to take...PAXLOVID and Molnupiravir: Avoid 12/23/2021 10:07:18 AM PST · by Qiviut · 35 repliesSteve Kirsch's Newsletter ^ | December 23, 2021 | Steve Kirsch
How good is the FDA at EUA approval for COVID drugs? Well, so far, to be honest, pretty shitty. The first three Covid drugs approved under EUA were Remdesivir, Baricitinib, and Tofacitinib. All were EUA approved for inpatient use (in hospital) only, demonstrate dismal effectiveness and are replete with black box warnings and side effects such as organ failure, blood clots, serious infections and malignancy. PAXLOVID PAXLOVID was recently approved by the FDA without any external meetings or disclosure. There was no opportunity for public input. Essentially all done behind closed doors. Dr. Ryan Cole on the drug’s mechanism of...
Pfizer’s COVID Pill Paxlovid Fails In Clinical Trials 04/26/2022 4:55:20 PM PDT · by ransomnote · 21 repliesgreatgameindia.com ^ | 4/26/2022 | GGI Staff
People who took Pfizer’s COVID pill Paxlovid, reported that following the five-day treatment period, they would begin testing positive for Covid again and it has as a result failed in clinical trials.Paxlovid has been hailed as one of the gold standard Covid treatments in the United States, with President Joe Biden mentioning it at this year’s State of the Union speech. However, some people who took the drug to treat the virus have reported an unusual occurrence. The Pfizer-developed medicine is thought to be highly effective at averting hospitalization or death in people who have already been infected with the virus, but...Recipients of Biden-touted Paxlovid report Covid symptoms returning and even testing positive for the virus again after completing course of the drug 04/23/2022 9:53:49 PM PDT · by SeekAndFind · 7 repliesDaily Mail ^ | 04/23/2022 | MANSUR SHAHEEN U.S. DEPUTY HEALTH EDITOR
Some recipients of Paxlovid, an antiviral pill developed by Pfizer, are reporting Covid symptoms returning after finishing their course of the drug The drug was touted by President Joe Biden and collectively offered to all Americans at his 2022 State of the Union addressThere are multiple reports of people in the Boston area suddenly feeling sick and testing positive for Covid after the drug initially helped them get over the virusOne expert described it as 'cat and mouse', with the virus being able to return after the drug suppressing it cleared from a person's system Paxlovid has been deemed one...

Isn’t it amazing that HCQ, Ivermectin, and Pfizer’s PAXLOVID ($72per pill) all inhibit the same SARS 3CLpro enzyme to inhibit replication? 11/12/2021 9:09:51 AM PST · by Mount Athos · 30 repliestwitter ^ | Nov 11th, 2021 | Clarke MD
Weird that two are “snake oil” and the expensive one will get EUA {Emergency Use Authorization by the FDA}
btw, Dr. AP is full of shite regarding his claim that Paxlovid drug-drug interactions are no big deal:
https://www.fda.gov/media/155050/download
EUA prescribing PDF has this black box warning:
“• PAXLOVID includes ritonavir, a strong CYP3A inhibitor,
which may lead to greater exposure of certain concomitant
medications, resulting in potentially severe, life threatening, or fatal events. (4, 5.1, 7)
• Prior to prescribing PAXLOVID: 1) Review all medications
taken by the patient to assess potential drug-drug
interactions with a strong CYP3A inhibitor like PAXLOVID
and 2) Determine if concomitant medications require a dose
adjustment, interruption, and/or additional monitoring. (7)
• Consider the benefit of PAXLOVID treatment in reducing
hospitalization and death, and whether the risk of potential
drug-drug interactions for an individual patient can be
appropriately managed. (5.1, 7, 14)”
and then there’s this:
“-———————————————CONTRAINDICATIONS-—————
• History of clinically significant hypersensitivity reactions to the active ingredients (nirmatrelvir or ritonavir) or any other components. (4)
• Co-administration with drugs highly dependent on CYP3A for
clearance and for which elevated concentrations are associated with serious and/or life-threatening reactions. (4, 7.3)
• Co-administration with potent CYP3A inducers where significantly reduced nirmatrelvir or ritonavir plasma concentrations may be associated with the potential for loss of virologic response and possible resistance. “
and then the FDA puts this burden on prescribers:
“You or your designee must report all SERIOUS ADVERSE
EVENTS or MEDICATION ERRORS potentially related to PAXLOVID (1) by submitting FDA Form 3500 online, (2) by downloading this form and then submitting by mail or fax, or (3) contacting the FDA at 1-800-FDA-1088 to request this form. Please also provide a copy of this form to Pfizer Inc. at fax number: 1-866-635-8337. (6.4) “
[since the majority of medications metabolize via the set of CYPA hepatic enzymes, the potential for dangerous and even fatal drug interactions with Paxlovid is enormous ... we elderly are particularly vulnerable to this situation because so many of us have to take multiple medications to stay alive ... folks, even the FDA views Paxlovid as a very dangerous drug ...]
I have used Paxlovid and I can vouch for its effectiveness. Its use is restricted to those with one or more defined risk factors, such as age, obesity, or certain chronic illnesses that render one vulnerable to covid. But yeah, test positive, take Paxlovid, be symptom free in 48 hours, test negative in five days.
