The House vote was 214-216. Rep. Mike Gallagher (R-Wisc.) joined Buck and McClintock in voting with Democrats against the resolution.

So the whole caucus including the RINOs held but these three conservatives saved him?

McClintock has become such a disappointment.

When he was in California, he used to put out a list of all the ballot initiatives with his recommendations from a fiscally conservative point of view.

He would vote No on spending bills that he knew the Democrats would pass anyway.

However, today in Congress he seems to have a "what will it matter" attitude that he never displayed as a member of the California legislature.

I read elsewhere that it was initially a tie.
Trouble is a tie effectively kills the whole thing so Buck changed his vote under some rule so they can revote next week when Scalise returns.
