Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) said Monday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” that Republicans are opposing the bipartisan border deal because they are “scared to death” of former President Donald Trump.
Schumer said, “It’s a turning point. History is going to look over our shoulders and say did we rise to the occasion. To his credit Mitch McConnell did, but too many Republicans including Speaker Johnson are just scared to death of Donald Trump. Donald Trump has said he wants chaos. Donald Trump has said, well, wait till I become president. That will take at least a year. Ukraine could be gone. The border will get much worse. War in the Middle East will get worse, maybe bringing us into it. He’s doing it all for political reasons.”

That kind of verbal intimidation used to work all the time on Republicans, and still does in the Senate.
I hope the House is finally turning its back on Schumer's bluster and let's President Trump speak for them.

Yeah, golly gee, I wonder why they’ve been going pedal to the metal on illegal immigrants/migrants since 2021.
Because they, too, are afraid of Trump.
And their WHOLE cozy little world has been destroyed since 2017. Their media allies are being laid off left and right, and their favorite people have been discredited and removed from positions of power and influence, with more to go.
