During President Barack Obama's eight years in office, it was common to see a variation of the Old Glory flag of the United States where the stars in the blue field were replaced with Obama's face. And yet, it was just as common to see bumper stickers that infamously proclaimed "Obama: One Big *** Mistake America."
Clearly, there were those who were fans of the former president just as there were those who opposed him and all of his policies. Today, there are, not surprisingly, those who see him as one of America's greatest presidents and those who view him as one of the worst.
There have certainly been cases made that Barack Obama was among the worst presidents in U.S. history – but that overlooks such former commander-in-chiefs as Richard Nixon, Herbert Hoover, and John Tyler.
Nixon, of course, is remembered today for Watergate, while his normalizing of relations with China is largely an afterthought; likewise, Hoover's mishandling of the early years of the Great Depression overshadowed his "Good Neighbor Policy" that improved relations with Latin America.

I remember a time not too long ago when America wasn’t divided into antagonistic camps based on race and sex, and I served in a military where all races and both sexes worked together as one team. Obama changed all that. As the first black president, he destroyed so much progress made America into a true melting pot.
Diversity is not strength, and all cultures are not equal.
How did Carter escape your list?
I do think people completely underestimate the damage Obama has truly wrought upon this country.
Obama is the Trojan Horse for the Weather Underground folks who eventually took over the Democratic Party.
I’d often reply “He’s accomplished something I never thought I’d see imy lifetime.”.
“The first black American President?” They would typically reply.
No. Bill Clinton accomplished that. Obama replaced Jimmy Carter as the worst President in modern American history.
Why should anyone be surprised that the affirmative action president was a disaster? He was groomed for the job to “energize” African-American voters into voting for an Uncle Tom, but if you’re white it isn’t socially acceptable to call him that. Too many voted for him because of the color of his skin and ignored his lack of a track record or actual accomplishments.
OBOZO IS A MUSLIM BORN IN KENYA AS HIS GRANDMOTHER STATES, CANNOT SUPPORT A DEMOCRATIC SOCIETY. HE HATES AMERICA BUT LOVES THE GOOD LIFE HERE.
Worst in my life time. My life time started with Carter...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Mine started with Eisenhower. So LBJ is the worst president in my lifetime.
I hit post too fast with out looking lol
“his actions—before-—during—after being in the OVAL OFFICE....”
After. Just like today America is still suffering the terrible after effects of Lyndon Johnson, we through his Vice President are still in a deadly spiral.
Top five worse.
Top 2 worse installed presidents.
👍✔📌👌
Agree! And Bush 41 gave them “ Most favored nation” status.
AND RAISING TAXES.
Carter? Did Peanut Man kill 58,000 Americans? Did Carter give us the Great Society?
Carter was an American hero compared to Obama, Johnson and Biden.
I’ve gained some respect for Carter, although I disagreed with a lot of things he did.
All of these are great American heroes compared to the one obvious president you failed to mention.
People think Carter was the worst president ever because he gave away the Panama Canal. He failed in the Iranian Hostage crisis.
Sheesh.
What about the Great Society? That, like them n—rs voting democratic for 200 years, is still effing up America. And will for another 150 years left.
And then there’s a little matter of 58,000 dead American and a lost war.
How did Carter escape your list?
No kidding. This is a pet peeve of mind when the topic of worst presidents comes up and people ignorantly forget THE worst of all?
