TikTok video of a young woman complaining about having to work 40 hours a week went mega-viral with millions of views on social media.

The woman, who says her name is Eliza, posts under the moniker "SupposedlyASystem," and she says that it is impossible to enjoy life while working 40 hours in order to pay the rent.

"How do people manage to enjoy life while working full time?" she wrote on the video.

"So, I work 40 hours a week so I can have a two-bedroom apartment and an extra $300 a month," she says.

It took forEVer!

Especially if you couldn't find the pliers you had to use because the knob had broken off the "channel changer"!

Effin snowflakes. I average 65 hours/week, am 61 years old and have physical limitations. I commute to the office 3 days/week and work from home 3 days/week.

So sick of whining little bitches like this, both female and male.

Privileged, entitled little asses like this really piss me off. No wonder the country is such a shit show.

Guys think like this. Being a full time homemaker is harder than having a job.

“Oh, dear. I feel terrible now.”

Don’t worry. If anything happens I’ll vouch for you. If you think that would help. :-)

She should own her own business. My employees get more time off than I do. I finally got a day off last December. Of course it was a Friday but I was back to work on Monday. 1 day in the last 3 years.

told an old-timer friend I was going to retire in a few years because I wanted more free time and was tired of being so busy all of the time. he responded with one of the truest to life statements I’ve ever heard...”Son, if you think you’re busy now just wait until you retire”. he wasn’t kidding.

You people always have to lord your high and mighty luxury over the rest of us don’t you?

Did you have to change the channels yourself, or did the butler do it for you?

“Once we paid off the mortgage everything started to fall into place. It also helps to have a wife that is content with simple pleasures.”

...

Ain’t that the truth. I live in the house I bought in 1992. Sure, it’s not a ritzy, gated community but it’s completely mine and I have every toy I want.

If I were still married to the last one I would have bought a new house (as she insisted), have big mortgage and nothing else, and would probably need a part-time job to get by.

A man’s got to know his limitations.

That’s the secret.

And armed with the right outlook, many jobs can become enjoyable.

I love my work. Could have retired many years ago.

If only she was a newly-arrived foreign trespasser, she would have more than enough income to stay at home most of the time. The federal government understands how hard it is when you ask someone to work for her money, especially when she is a border-jumper.

The feds give you FREE cash, food, rent money, health care, a cell phone and education to ease your burden and reward you for breaking federal law to unlawfully invade the USA.

I don’t know how far she lives from the Canadian border, but I hear they have a
“medical” solution for people who are chronically unhappy.

Alternatively she might consider living in a cheap dump or getting a roommate until she can work out a way to save a few bucks or find a better job. Most of us have had to deal with challenges before we reached a reasonable level of satisfaction with our situation in life; bitching about it and wallowing in self-pity doesn’t seem like a likely solution.

I hear stories all the time about some folks who would be better off if they could draw Social Security & live with that....if they only met the age requirements.
