Governor Kevin Stitt (R-OK) said Friday on CNN’s “The Lead” that he agreed with Gov. Greg Abbott (R-TX) defying the decision of the U.S. Supreme Court that federal agents may remove razor wire at the southern border.
Anchor Jake Tapper said, “Twenty-five Republican governors from across the country have signed a joint statement supporting the Texas governor as he thumbs his nose at the highest court in the land.”

The Constitution is what matters. Not the POTUS or the SCOTUS. Or even the useless Congress.
And we still have the states?
You have to ask yourself; “HOW MANY DIVISIONS DO THEY HAVE” to paraphrase an evil, dead, old man.
I was waiting for this, really was only a matter of time before the SC made itself irrelevant with Pedo Roberts at the helm. They have now shown everyone just how powerless they are, all because they refused to rule in accordance with the law and tried to split hairs politically serving their puppet masters.
The Supreme Court never ruled on weather Texas has a right to defend its borders nor if it can prevent The border patrol from trespassing on Texas land if Texas says no. It only said they could cut razor wire. Let them try and get close enough to cut it.
They can be ignored if their decision is unconstitutional!
They SCOTUS has already ruled on this.
Supreme Court announced for the first time the principle that a court may declare an act of Congress void if it is inconsistent with the Constitution.
“All laws that are repugnant to the Constitution are null and void.”
Marbury v. Madison
That would also include SCOTUS!😠
This?:
“
If diaper brain can still pay off student loans then Texas can shut the border down”
Jake, when SCOTUS enforced the fugitive slave laws, would you obey them by turning in escaped slaves?
In this case, do you really think Biden would hesitate to use the FBI, Homeland Security, the military and any other forces at his command to enforce the decision of SCOTUS, since they ruled in his favor?>>> Well the decision of SCOTUS was to vacate the injunction to stop the border employees from being able to access the park via cutting the razor wire. If they want to access the park go ahead. But Texas can legally put the wire back up.
My comment was intended to point out that people paraphrasing Andrew Jackson like that fail to see the logical fallacy of applying that statement to this situation.
“SCOTUS doesn’t get to ignore the constitution.”
Correct. The Constitution is the supreme law of the land, putting it above SCOTUS.
Also, check out what AG Paxton said in his letter of 1/26/24:
Note this part:
“
Instead, you fixate on a recent order from the Supreme Court of the United States. As you know,
that unsigned order supplied no rationale for vacating a Fifth Circuit injunction. It may be that the
Supreme Court was misled by allegations levelled by your federal agency, and which you repeated
in your January 14th letter to our office. In any event, the Court’s order certainly said nothing
about access to Shelby Park, which even the federal government’s lawyers acknowledged is “not
presented” in that ongoing litigation. See Second Supplemental Memorandum at 5, DHS v. Texas,
No. 23A607 (Jan. 15, 2024).”
That must be the comment at #1, but it wasn't there when I first viewed the page. The article thread showed Comment #1 was "removed by the moderator." That's why I wrote ChicagoConservative27 about it. Weird. I'm not blind either. Had cataracts removed and got 20/20 vision now.
Supreme Court needs to start being called "The Swamp Court."
Trusted Pastor Warns Biden’s Border Battle With Texas Could Be Deliberately Provoking Civil War
Jack Hibbs, Senior Pastor of Calvary Chapel Chino Hills in California and Founder of the Real Life Network on Wednesday informed his congregation about the situation developing, which he warned could result in civil war.
Many, especially young people, are not aware of the “incredible power” held by governors, Hibbs explained.
“The governor is like the president of a country,” he described. “The United States Air Force is made up of Air Forces from 50 different states. The United States Army is made up of soldiers or army personnel from each of the 50 states. Every state has a National Guard. So, for example, Gavin Newsom, as Governor of California, is the Commander in Chief of the California National Guard.”
“Our states are sovereign. The states agree to have the federal government rule over them. A governor can tell the federal government that they’re not going to do this or they’re not going to do that,” he explained. “A governor has incredible power.”
“We’re in a situation because Texas, the people of Texas, decided to shut the border down. Joe Biden deployed federal forces to literally cut the brand new fencing and barbed wire so that the invasion could continue,” Hibbs stressed. “You don’t want to pick a fight with Texas—and I’m not saying that as a joke. Their patriotism for their ‘country of Texas’ is not to be played with.”
“Texas’ constitutional authority, by the way, trump’s the federal constitution,” the pastor noted, highlighting that Texas has already left the United States twice, and the events unfolding could lead to a third departure.
Biden’s handlers would probably incite a Civil War just so they can cancel the elections in November. But, when the Civil War was going on here, elections were still held, even though 11 States had seceded.
